Just wondering if Landon Johnson is worth a roster spot in a 53 man zealots league, he's on the waiver wire and I could probaly get him for 50 zbucks while Ahmad Brooks is over 2500 zbucks, Landon have any sleeper potential?

Some, but not much. Johnson gets a starting job with the suspension to Thurman, but he'll start at WLB while Brian Simmons moves to MLB. Simmons put up numbers worthy of a roster spot in deeper leagues like yours as the Bengals' WLB in recent seasons, but Johnson is a reserve after Thurman returns unless there's an injury in the meantime.

For 4 games he will replace Odell Thurman, who is suspended, at MLB.

WLB: Johnson

MLB: Simmons

SLB: Pollack

Next dozen games...

WLB: Simmons

MLB: Thurman

SLB: Pollack

Either way, Johnson will not be a 3-down LB. IMO, take a guy like Peter Sirmon late in the draft. Much like Johnson, Sirmon will be a 2-down LB...but he should start most of the season.

WD has it right. The depth charts are essentially correct, Johnson has been considered to be the backup for Thurman and has filled in there in the past. The coaching staff feels that Simmons will hold better there over the longer stretch apparently. I'll PM Bob to clarify the depth charts.
