Not sure if im in the right section for this, but here goes.

I am the commish for my FFL. I go through ESPN. This year we are deciding to do a 1st place trophy and a last place trophy. I just dont know how to set it up in the brackets to where the two lowest teams play eachother in their own little "super bowl" for the trophy.

You have arrived in the right place!

First of all, how are you doing?

I'm good, yourself?

In my league, 8 teams make the playoffs and 4 do not. During the 3 playoff weeks, the 4 losing teams play each other in a round-robin tournament we call the Battle of the Scrubs. The winner of this tournament receives the first draft pick the next year. This is a way to prevent the losing teams from purposefully losing to get that first draft pick.

I suppose you could do something similar, with the loser of the tournament receiving the last-place trophy.

oh ok, so it automatically does the bracketing itself? i dont have to play with playoff brackets at all? Right now i have it as 8 teams make and 2 do not.

Well, we do it through CBS, not ESPN so I don't know how the interface works. But when it comes playoff time, our commish has to set the schedule manually.
