So putting together a list of players with high upside, that can be had at the mid/end of draft let me know what you think. Also feel free to throw some names out there with some type of reasoning.

Few Names Come To Mind

QB'S

-Tony Romo, Mid round pick which will produce great numbers.

-Mathew Stafford, He has everything setup for him and if he slipes to you hes a steal.

-Eli Manning, With Nicks in a contract year, and wilson looking good should produce.

-Josh Freeman, He Finished last year 8th in qb points contract year and with vincent jackson 2nd season.

-Michael Vick,For fantasy purposes only he looks great and for a fair price.

RB'S

-Joseph Randle, Will Murray stay health, Randle looked good in preseason.

-Marcel Reece, DMC can never stay healthy, and this guy filled in great last year for ppr

-Danny Woodhead, He has value already, but if mathews goes down i think he can put up rb2 #'s

-Knowshon Moreno/Hillman, like Hillman more then knowshon and dont trust ball.

-Ben Tate, He will give you flex option points but if foster goes down he can be a rb #1

-Felix Jones, whos the rb in pit? i think jones is there best option if he can pick up the scheme.

-Pierre Thomas,Can be had late and is a great #3 rb with ivory gone carries should go up.

WR'S

-Kenny Britt, Always a guy every year that you wonder can he finnally get it together.

-Alshon Jeffery, This guy is going to be a stud, WR #2 Numbers this year and killing it in preseason.

-Golden Tate,He's #1 wr in seattle for a late round flier great upside flex/bye week guy.

-Ruben Randle,He's a Solid wr #3, but with nicks always going down he can easily be a #2 for cheap.

-Miles Austin, Late pick with WR #2 upside.

-Nate washington, He's looking great it in preseason and can be there #1 wr for a cheap price.

-T.Y Hilton, Another cheap name which can be a great flex option.

TE'S

-Martellus Bennett, He's looking great for the bears everything they need and should be a great red zone target.

-Owen Daniels, He's not going to lose you any games and should be solid for a late pickup

-Brandon Pettigrew, He has everything lined up for him, and hes going basicly undrafted.

It depends on roster makeup, but I like grabbing 1 or 2 guys that are falling due to injury or suspension.

Josh Gordon in round 9 (2 game suspension).

Justin Blackmon in round 11 or 12 (4 game suspension).

Le'Veon Bell in round 10-12 (injured, out 2/4 weeks?)

It will be tough to sit on guys like this and not drop them for the hot WW guys early. But I like each of them enough that I think waiting is worth it. Gordon and Blackmon looked like big time talents the 2nd half of last year. And I am buying into Bell based on the practice reports and the way Tomlin raved about him.

I also like the young Pats guys Thompkins (10th or so), Sudfeld (14th or so) and maybe even Dobson late.

Especially with Gronk out, 1 or 2 of these guys are going to burst out of the gates hot. Also, I like Sudfeld and Dobson because I think you will know one way or the other pretty quickly and if they aren't key targets, you just drop them for the hot WW guy.

Qb- ej manuel, brandon weeden, carson palmer... Each of these guys is a sleeper to put up QB1 stats

Rb- roy helu, christine michael, vick ballard, kendall hunter... Handcuffs going late that can put up good #s if given the chance

Wr- kendall wright, andre roberts, cordarelle patterson, quentin patton... All have shown flashes of talent

Te- zach sudfeld, jermaine gresham, tyler eifert

i like the Alshon Jeffrey guy. I expect Chicago to spread it around more. Maybe only slightly, but maybe Trestman can get through to Cutler. Worth a 10th rd pick in my opinion.

All the dumb not needed comments, (if you don't like a thread don't post)

(an your oppinion of what constitutes good or useful info isn't the gospel) S T F U

All you do is load up threads with more useless junk, taking up 90% of the f'n thread..

Back to the thread..

I like:

Blackmon and Josh Gordon as later round guy's that should produce well when they get in there.

(as others have pointed out as well, there being drafted way lower in leagues than they should be)

Stafford should have a much improved year after last year but still had good points even then, and

Reggie Bush if stays healthy could have a career year an if PPR league should be a monster there.

Not a sexy pic but DeAngelo Williams may be worth a "late" flyer with the latest news about J Stewart..

In return yardage leagues quite often Jacoby Jones is overlooked as is Darren Sproles to some degree.

To throw a DEF out there I like ST. Louis as one to grab late..

This is a great thread question. My silly comment is because the list includes players with an ADP of 8th rd. That isn't a late rd flyer at all. Later flyer is rd 13 on. Joseph Randle is great for this post. Stafford/Manning/Romo/Austin/Hilton are not at all.

You want a true late rd flyer....Kenny Stills NO (Brees took him under his wing in offseason and trusts him, Moore on last yr of contract)

No need to tell anyone to S T F U. I was not abusive, your comment is.

The reason the thread has been littered with "jerk" comments is because it lacks consistency or standard for evaluation. The OP title says late round flyers. Then in the first post it was altered to combine mid round to late. Then in the list of players given there are several examples of players who's ADPs are nowhere near late to mid round. Rather than getting on your high house to scold posters, why not look to provide consistency to the thread? It's a good topic but was poorly laid out. What constitutes a late round pick? Round 12 or later? There is no way to discuss things until that is defined.

I agree with the "jerks" that way too many guys on that original list have no business being in this thread.

Here are some of my favorite late round values.

QB

A. Smith, ADP of 173.

Weeden, ADP of 201

RB

Ingram, ADP of 82

D. Williams, ADP of 83

P. Thomas, ADP of 111

Redman, ADP of 163

WR

Boldin, ADP of 88

V. Brown, ADP of 102

E. Sanders, ADP of 117

K. Wright, ADP of 141

C. Patterson, ADP of 148

DHB, ADP of 174

Geez, this room got loud quick. I wasn't trying to be a jerk or troll. Stafford has an ADP of 5.03 according to draft dominator!

Unless you were in a 8 or 10 team league all of these guys would be drafted and most very early. A flyer should be someone that is after 13th. They type of player you take right before a kicker and defense that is a lottery ticket. He could be a gem or dropped in week 5 to cover a bye. It could be a player that you think will blossom later in year, become prominent if injury happens or in dynasty who you stash for next yrs value.

Are we talking dynasty or redraft?

I keep getting an itch to roster Jeremy Ross from the Packers. He's kind of like a poor man's Randall Cobb but bigger. RB/KR/WR. I just think he's the next man up now that Jennings and Driver are gone.
