Later-round Rookie WRs with the most potential? (1 Viewer)

I'm looking for rookie WRs who can be picked up in the later rounds of rookie fantasy drafts. Last year I selected Mike Wallace with the last pick in my league's 3 round draft and would obviously like to duplicate the value of those later picks.

Which rookie WRs out there do you guys think will end up flying under the radars of your league mates?

Marcus Easley - these guys could be huge

Taylor Price

Andre Roberts

Emmanuel Sanders

Freddie Barnes - safest bet to produce of these guys but lacks a huge ceiling

David Gettis - low risk/low probability/high reward

Danario Alexander

Carlton Mitchell

Mike Williams

Kerry Meier - low upside but could become reliable and unexciting starters

Eric Decker

Kyle Williams - I really like what I've seen when he's been healthy but that's been few and very far between and haven't heard much about him in terms of the draft so not sure if scouts think anything of him

I like this list. Roberts is going to be a solid player. Upside is the question. He may only be a slot guy. Price and Barnes have the potential to be productive #2 WRs at the next level. Sanders is comparable to Mike Wallace, albeit a little bit slower.

90% chance Roberts is just a slot guy, but I think he has the play making ability to potentially be more, just need to see how he does consistently against elite competition. He reminds me of Johnny Knox this time last year except I like Roberts' build a bit more, he's got more power in his lower body.I think Sanders has a mean streak in his game that may distinguish himself from other small-fast guys, he pursues contact, he's fearless, I love that about him.

I think Price has more big play ability than Barnes, I think Barnes is more consistent. Barnes is going to be his QB's best friend in a few years.

I'm not sure where he is projected to go, but Jeremy Williams is another one that I like and I'm planning to target. Whenever I caught a Tulane game on TV, he impressed me a lot -- good routes, good hands.

Roberts is a lot squattier and thicker than Knox. He runs with the same bow-legged style of Santonio Holmes and Eddie Royal. That's why he's so smooth changing directions and running routes. I don't know if he has quite as much burst as those two, but he was one of the faster WRs at the combine with a 4.46. I think he has a chance to become a Holmes/Mason type. At the very least he should give his team a Davone Bess type of option out of the slot and some value in the return game.

Marcus Easley
As a UConn homer I have to pimp Marucs. Guy seemingly came out of nowhere last year, but take note that a) he is a former walk on who had to earn playing time and b) UConn's passing attack pre 2009 was dreadful.Easley is big and fast (6-2, 210 and has run around 4.4) and was absolutely dominant the last 8 or 9 games this year. Had a nice turnout at the combine, and his Pro Day is tomorrow. Another year at UConn and we'd be talking about him as one of the top WRs for 2011. Will still prove to be a bit raw but take note of where he gets drafted. End of homer rant.
