If any of you have updates on Laurent Robinson's ankle injury, it would be great if you could post it here. I wasn't able to watch the game, but based on some of the current information available, he got his ankle 'smashed' by a defender, and had to be carted to the locker room. If any of you who watched the game can chime in as well, it would be much appreciated.Latest from CBS:

Rams WR Laurent Robinson caught two passes for 26 yards in Week 3's game against the Packers before he got injured. Robinson had to helped off the field after getting his ankle smashed by a Packers defender and has what the Rams are calling a right ankle sprain. Robinson could not walk to the locker room and was taken in on a cart. He could not return. (Updated 09/27/2009). Fantasy Analysis Robinson has 13 catches for 167 yards and a touchdown thus far this season and has been St. Louis' best overall receiver in the early going. Hopefully he'll be able to return Week 4 at San Francisco. The 49ers have a solid pass defense and a healthy Robinson would likely be just a No. 3 or 4 WR.

Additional news below. Sounds like at least 2-3 weeks for Laurent Robinson's injury. Sounds like Avery also has a rib injury. Not good news for Robinson, Avery, Bulger, or even SJax owners. If any additional news comes out, please post here.ESPN Sept 27:

Player News (last updated: September 27, 2009) News: Robinson was on crutches after Sunday's loss with what the St.Louis Post Dispatch said looks like a substantial right ankle injury.Spin: Fellow wideout Donnie Avery suffered an injury to his ribs in the game and that's on top of a shoulder injury to QB Marc Bulger. A note to all free agent receivers and quarterbacks; turn on your cell phones, the Rams may be calling.
ProFootbalWeeksly Sept 27:
Posted Sept. 27, 2009 @ 10:54 p.m.By PFW staffIn addition to losing starting QB Marc Bulger with a shoulder injury in their loss to the Packers Sunday in their home opener, reports out of St. Louis are indicating that the Rams might have also lost the services of starters Laurent Robinson and James Butler for an extended period of time.Robinson, the team’s most impressive receiver entering Week Three, injured his right ankle and is expected to miss 2-3 games at the very least. Butler, a free-agent addition who had become the team’s starting strong safety, injured his left knee.

Robinson Done for the Season:

From Rotoworld:Bernie Miklasz of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Laurent Robinson is done for the season with a broken leg.Miklasz says it's either a fractured tibia or fibula -- he isn't sure. Robinson was easily the Rams' best pass catcher in their first three games, but he has been injury prone throughout his three-year pro career. Keenan Burton, who is purely a possession receiver, will move into the starting lineup. It's a major downgrade, and will make St. Louis' offense easier to defend. Sep. 28 - 3:45 pm et
