Lavernius Coles and Donald Driver (1 Viewer)

Anybody else high on them this year?

For Coles, I think the change is going to be refreshing for him. Does he fill the void left by Housh?

Driver, is just solid and Jennings will be drawing double coverage.

Coles could be an 80 catch guy again in Cinci. I like him this year.

Driver - Is his hold on the starting spot more tenuous than people know? It's going to be very difficult to stay ahead of a healthy James Jones and Jordy Nelson. And at $5 mil this season, it may be Driver's last in GB. He performs every year, no doubt. My concern is that he's not really a red zone option - I think all or most of his TDs last year were long scores. His catches may continue their descent (92 to 82 to 74) to maybe 65. Great, tough player but I'm not confident in him as a WR2 (although, I thought the same last year and the eventual league champ took him as his WR2, right after taking Jennings, so what do I know).

I think Driver will have a couple solid games, but to count on him as a regular in your lineup may be asking a little too much. If I remember correctly he's going to be 34 years old this year. James Jones has been very, very solid when healthy and there just seem to be too many options to go around for there to be 2 1000 yard WRs in GB this year.

I think Henry steals the thunder in Cincy this year. I'm not sure where Ocho and Coles fit in but I do very much think they'll do well. It is 100% a gut call. I've been burned more often than not when I had high expectations of a WR going to a new team so I'd have to say to calm any expectations that are too high for Coles.I think Coles=wins and hope. That guy is a big time chain mover. NYJ will sorely miss him.Driver's ADP is late and in drafts he can dip even more as people wonder about Jordy and Jones. I agree with the previous that his situation is very precarious but, if he's there late enough I'm grabbing him.(xenon can you fix spelling in title so it's searchable once discussions get rockin' around here please)

I agree that Coles could be a good value. I think he's being overlooked, and I disagree with those who see Henry outperforming him.

Driver on the other hand will continue to be phased out I think. People are still ranking him too high based on past production, but WRs Jones and Nelson, as well as TE Finley, will eat into his numbers more than most think. He's 34 now and the younger guys are ready to step up. The days of 70-90 receptions are over.

Dodds projects Driver with 64-832-6. I see it more like 52-700-4. He's had 6 or more TDs just once in the last 4 years, so Dodds' projection of 6 TDs I find especially odd.
