I'm not sure of this statement...With Dillon playing in Cinn, the team he left to go to the Pats, I see him wanting to play a stellar game. With Dillion banged up, maybe sitting, more likely seeing limited time, is Maroney showcased this week? Seems like the stage is set for him to at least carry a bigger load. What are the expectations of Maroney owners and/or Pats homers?
No way. Dillon is going to be out to make a statement. Whether he does or not is certainly in question, but he definately is gonna be pumped up for this game. Not sure what Dillon has to prove, he has a ring, the bengals don't. Isn't that scoreboard enough?
Why?IIRC, and I say this as a Dillon fan as of late, Wasn't Dillon pretty much the ######## in the Cincy situation? Dillon has matured and grown up since he's been a Patriot, wasn't it Dillon who caused all of his problems in Cincy, and not the other way around? Maybe I forgot, that's what I remember. No way. I predict a lot of Shaun Alexander owners will start Maroney this week.
It has nothing to do with him being a #### or who's fault it was that he left Cincy IMO, players LOVE to play their former teams, there's more of an adreniline rush. I'm sure Dillon wants to show Cincy he's still a good RB. If Dillon has any say he's going to do his best to run over Cincy. Why?IIRC, and I say this as a Dillon fan as of late, Wasn't Dillon pretty much the ######## in the Cincy situation? Maroney is also returning kickoff's, so if your league counts those, that is another reason to use him this week. he has been averaging @ 60 return yds a week.I am starting Maroney, but I think Dillon plays for sure this week. I still like Maroney a lot. In a game where The Bengals should score a lot, I like Maroney to get 100 combined yards and a TD. I figure Maroney gets 35 yards rushing and the remaining 65 yards receiving.
We don't get return yards, only TDs :(Maroney is also returning kickoff's, so if your league counts those, that is another reason to use him this week. he has been averaging @ 60 return yds a week.I am starting Maroney, but I think Dillon plays for sure this week. Bummer, but there are leagues that do, and he has been getting 6 pts a week in return yds. Combine that with whatever he may get rushing or receiving, and he should put up some decent numbers, in those leagues. We don't get return yards, only TDs :(

As a member of Patriot Nation and Maroney owner in two leagues, I cringe every time I see him back there returning KO's.Two words - Jason SeahornWe don't get return yards, only TDs :(Maroney is also returning kickoff's, so if your league counts those, that is another reason to use him this week. he has been averaging @ 60 return yds a week.I am starting Maroney, but I think Dillon plays for sure this week. Beleive me, Im with you on that. It's ridiculous.Anyhow, I dont see anything changing in this situation. They should continue to split carries evenly.
