Lawyer help... (1 Viewer)

I am writing a paper for school and need some legal guidance.

The paper is about the HSBC money laundering scandal. From what I can gather online, HSBC laundered drug money, violated the Trading with the enemy act, committed wire fraud and violated the International Emergency Economics Power Act.

The problem I have is, I can find anywhere what exact laws were broken. So, I ask what federal/state law or statute did HSBC break. Anyone who is willing to help, I need specifics. For this paper, I have all the other details I just can't find (and don't understand) enough of the legal stuff to find this data.

Thanks,

Sure, show off how fast you can click on a link we all have, HF. 2 minutes. Pfft. I wrote an AIA in that time.

I really didn't. I fixed one word. It took me two minutes to find what the hell my adversary was saying I had to fix and then like 5 minutes on top of that going, why the hell am I fixing that one word, and then I clicked here. Roughly. God I hate my job some days.

It took 20 seconds for my old, fat, arthritic hands to type "HSBC money laundering scandal law" into google, 20 to read and make sure of what I was posting, and about 20 to copy and paste into the window.

I can't decide whether to bill these as a single .125 entry or three individual .125 entries.

The continuing coversation counts, so you are at a good 15 minute clip now.

Thanks. I'm not used to billing.

The latter, obviously. Three totally different tasks.

eta: If unclear, this is in jest. Obviously the best way to bill and only way to bill is within the guidelines of the state's ethical rules...

You know the answer to that question.
