NASHVILLE, TN, Sept. 3, 2006 – The Tennessee Titans were awarded four players, TE Casey Cramer, CB Eric King, DE Josh Savage and LB Colby Bockwoldt via the NFL waiver system today. Additionally, the Titans agreed to terms with veteran DL DeQuincy Scott.Colby Bockwoldt (6-2, 237) was with the New Orleans Saints for the last two seasons. Last year he started all 16 games at weakside linebacker and totaled 93 tackles, which ranked second on the team. Over his two year NFL career, he has registered 23 starts, 141 tackles, one sack and 24 special teams stops. Bockwoldt was originally drafted by the Saints in the seventh round (240th overall) of the 2004 Draft from BYU. For the Cougars, he started 24 of 44 career games and totaled 197 tackles and 8.5 sacks.
Does this help him at all? My guess would be no, at least for now.

Nope. Can't see the Titans cutting Sirmon if they haven't already and you would think Tulloch is a better long-term option than a guy dumped by a club with the most uninspiring corps of linebackers in recent memory.
