LBs on the same NFL team, same dynasty team (1 Viewer)

Last year I held both Philip Wheeler and Dannell Ellerbe on my dynasty roster. Now they are both with the Dolphins. Any downside to my roster with this situation? How did this turn out for you if you've had two productive guys from the same position, same NFL team on your roster. I don't have to get rid of one of them, just trying to see if it makes sense to keep them both.

Thanks,

I guess it doesn't matter if they are on the same team. If they are productive, who cares. I would happily take Patrick Willis and Navarro Bowman. Urlacher and Briggs was a pretty good combination a couple years ago. Currently I have Colin McCarthy and Zach Brown.

I will take points any way I can.

how many teams in the league, players on a roster, linebackers do you start in a week?

Helps in handcuff situations, one goes down another may get three downs when he usually does not. Doing that with Nicholas and dent.

16 teams, 50 man rosters, start 3 LBs and a def. flex. I already have Kuechly & Laurinaitus plus some decent depth. Wheeler and Ellerbe would probably be my LB3 & LB4.

I had Willis and Bowman early in their careers, but in the season in which Navorro had his coming out party, I traded him away because I had a hard time seeing him keeping up that production alongside Willis. Definitely a mistake. I had Zach Brown and Colin McCarthy, which was nice because I started Brown every week that McCarthy didn't play last year and he did pretty well. I just traded Zach Brown last night and got Sean Lee, not straight up though. But that leads me to another duo that I wouldn't mind having, Sean Lee and Bruce Carter. I'd start Lee as long as he's healthy, and Carter might even put up LB3 numbers playing with Lee. Having guys on the same team can be nice if you have the depth. You certainly don't want about five reliable linebackers, but two sets of teammates. With bye weeks, you're asking for trouble.
