Paragon Fantasy Football has two dynasty leagues starting up in 2011. Both are intensive, thrilling dynasty leagues that are designed to be an immersive, year round experience. Today we'd like to talk about our 32 Team NFL Experience... our largest and most popular format here at Paragon. Our 2010 league was a smashing success, and we had 100% return for year two. In fact, many loved it so much that they've already signed up for the 2011 league, which is a near mirror copy.
Here is a summary of the league:
[*]32 teams, organized into the NFL structure, bearing NFL franchise names.
[*]53 man rosters, 8 man taxi squad, IR, etc. built to mimic NFL.
[*]21 starters, balanced between offensive positions and defense for realism.
[*]The proven, balanced Paragon PPR scoring system.
[*]Playoff structure that mimics the NFL.
[*]2 Inaugural drafts for Veterans and Rookies.
[*]Annual rookie-only draft occurring soon after the NFL draft.
[*]Annual off season supplemental draft and blind bidding waivers.
[*]Sign players off opposing franchises practice squad for a price.
[*]In order to allow for 32 teams yet 53 players and a normal level of starters, there are two copies of each NFL player in the league although you can only own one copy of the player at any time. This adds many extra trading opportunities, strategy around drafts and an increased chance of rostering your favorite players.
[*]Large prize pools with 100% payouts less MFL league fees of $70/yr approx.
[*]Designed to last for the long haul with league parity in mind to re-balance each year so the league stays competitive.
[*]Extra compensatory rookie draft picks, holdover of 25% of prize money years 1-4 in order to have double prizes (Super Pool Concept) every 5 years.
[*]Start this league with confidence that it will be around for many years to come.
All Paragon Leagues:
[*]Are not for profit - all league dues are returned as prizes, short only the $70 MFL hosting fee.
[*]All money is held by leaguesafe with a vote required of all league members to approve the commissioner payout. There is no chance of fraud, ever.
[*]Have commissioners that are also players. We do the work for the love of the game.
[*]Are built and structured to be around for a decade plus. No Paragon leagues have ever folded. Most of the few orphaned teams that have come up were filled within hours, not days. We've got a lot of rabid fans of Paragon leagues. Come find out why.
Paragon leagues really are a bit different from many of the other leagues you might have played in. There are many great leagues you could join. We get that. We'd just like you to consider ours and stack it up against others you may be considering.
We really recommend you visit our website and read some of the testimonials of some of the players in our leagues. If you are familiar with Footballguys.com and these forums, we bet you'll recognize many of the names, and reading their thoughts about playing in these leagues may help you with your decision.
We opened up enrollment in our leagues 24 hours ago to current players, and the leagues are filling up quick. You can see the teams taken by fully paid owners on the rule page, here:

To join, we ask that you follow this simple process:
1) Read the rules. Both the league specific rules on the link above, and then the paragon common rules. These aren't boilerplate - they are detailed and descriptive. They will answer most of your questions and give you a flavor for how the leagues are built and the philosophy of our leagues.
2) When ready to join, send a response using the "contact us" form. Specify the league you want, and if you have a team preference, please state it. If you already have a leaguesafe account for another league, please let us know the email you have used for that, so our invite is linked to your account. If not, just give us your primary email address you would like used.
3) We will send you a leaguesafe invoice and invite. This is a third-party site that acts as trustee for all of our money, and we have no access to your account or financials at any time. Upon your payment of the $375 ($250 for year 2011, and 50% of the 2012 dues as deposit), we will confirm your spot on the rules page, as well as ask you what NFL team you would like to play, if you haven't done so.
4) You will then be given access to the league site for your team, so you can start interacting with the other owners as we approach having the league filled and the drafts randomized.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to drop us an email at commissioner@paragonfantasyfootball.com or via our website contact form on www.paragonfantasyfootball.com. Although both commissioners obviously have day jobs, we're usually pretty responsible.
We hope you'll decide to join our group of quality owners trying to create the best fantasy football experience possible, and will join our new 32 team league.
Regards,
Brian and Chris
