Ok, here's the situation. I'm playing in the first round of the playoffs against the Brady owner whose team consists of Brady, Edwards, Holt, Stallworth, Lendale, Fargas, Dallas Clark, Mason Crosby, and Minnesota. At least, it did have all those guys on it, until this week when Fargas got hurt.
A day after the news that Fargas would miss the rest of the season, his brother (also in the league but out of playoff contention) dropped Frank Gore and he picked Gore up immediately. I noticed this and called him out on the league message board. They claimed to be "joking" (but only after everyone else in the league noticed) and the guy dropped Gore again and his brother picked him back up.
I wanted a punishment for this because they were obviously trying to cheat, but the commissioner said no because then it would give my team an advantage. I thought, "Ok, well, he'll just have to pick someone off the waiver wire," and since we're in a 16 team league where RBs are just not available at all (best on wire is probably along the lines of Gado) I thought it would be a blow to his team, like it should have been.
Well, he picked up Kenny Watson and started him. And I lost. By 2 points. Watson had 19.
Am I wrong in saying that this guy should have been punished somehow for what he did, or am I just venting and don't really have a point here?
