League with IR spot. How/who to draft (1 Viewer)

I am joining a new PPR league on ESPN and it has a spot for IR.  I have never done a league with this spot.  Do I have to draft a guy that is currently on IR or can it sit empty.  Also, is there anyone currently on IR that would be good to grab and stash?

You'll have to check with your commissioner but chances are you can leave that spot empty. However, I'd consider adding Eric Swoope or Rico Gathers in that spot as a what the heck play. If it's a keeper league you could also go with Tannehill or Bridgewater also.
