[FF for Dummies]

I have read in many places that White's work ethic and attitude are terrible. He is a good running back, is this something that we should be worried about? i have the chance to trade up in our dynasty draft and that would be one of the ones that i would be looking at. What do you all think?

Is this anything like the reason that Butch Davis passed on the player he coached (Portis) for the player he coached against (Willie Green)?Besides, the Titans drafted White in the second round, where he presented good value. It would be one thing if they traded up to take him over Maroney/Deangelo/Addai. They didn't; they took him as the #5 RB; the only thing we know for sure is that they preferred him over guys like Maurice Drew.

This reminds me of the people who were claiming (irrationally) that since Parcells traded back and took Julius Jones, he must have liked him over the other RB's available when he traded back (Perry, K Jones, S Jackson).

You're probably right......but all OC's would rather draft an offensive player over a defensive player. If I were Norman Chow and had the choice between Lendale White and a Lawrence Taylor / Ray Lewis / **** Butkus type LB, I'd also be hollering...
