Lenny'The Convict'Dykstra v Mitch'Wild Thing'Williams (1 Viewer)

I had thought about going to this. Not sure why Williams agreed to it, unless he has become that hard up for money over the past year.

The 93 Phillies team sure had a cast of nut jobs: Daulton, Kruk, Schilling, Larry Andersen, Eisenreich.

They were a one year wonder. They'd lost 90 games in the previous year and we on their way to another sub-.500 season the year after the pennant.

I hate Mitch Williams about as much as I've ever hated a celebrity. His opinions are obviously garbage and based on nothing, but what always bothered me was how he carried himself as if everything he was saying was soooo smart and his criticisms were soooo funny and on-point. He does like this head shake thing at the :44 second mark that I've seen him do so many times on MLBN, and it makes me want to murder things. The worst.

Seems to me they are both pretty terrible. Have to agree with Dykstra insofar that Mitch Williams really has ####ed up everything he's ever done. Then again, that's a whole lotta :potkettle:

That was painful to watch on every level. Dykstra comes across as a sociopath, and Williams seems a man with a broken spirit.

I don't know very much about Williams personal life, other than his recent Roy Turner moment at his son's Little League game. Does he have skeletons? Dykstra stole from people, poor people, and even his own son. He's evil.

Oh yeah dykstra is a total mess. I wouldn't wanna know the guy on a personal level, but he always cracked me up though

I did notice that Mitch didn't deny getting pissed off when the team would score an insurance run to ruin his save opps. What a dbag

I have 5 kids that I have never stolen a dollar from!

It's a weird comeback in most arguments but I think it plays in this instance.

I can't think of any circumstance where I would ever resort to stealing from my kid. I guess that's what rock bottom is.

It was one of those improbable seasons - everyone had career years, everyone stayed healthy (except for one DL stint for Hollins) and they won a ton of one-run games.

Also, roids.
