I hadn't really seen L. Weaver till today, and granted, the Philly line was blasting some holes for him. He seems like a downhill runner, and more of a meat and potatoes back compared to the finesse Westbrook clone L. McCoy. McCoy want to do the same things Westbrook does, but is just not as polished at this point in his career.

Weaver is a journeyman but his 8/75/1 caught my attention. Didn't see the whole game, but what I saw, I did like.

If Westbrook's concussion is a lingering issue, could Weaver be suddenly valuable as a flex/rb3 ?

No.Weav had a great game today, but the Eagles can and do like to spread the ball around. Reid and Marty saw a mismatch today with Weaver up the middle on Pierce, and Weav broke a long run that, truth be told, we were shocked he wasn't caught and tackled. We were all joking about how he seemed to be running in slow motion, but somehow he scampered 40+ yards for the score. He's versatile, but he's not going to get enough touches in most games to factor.

Doubtful, he's a fullback in an Andy Reid offense. I have no idea why He got 8 carries today, but that's a huge anomaly for the Eagles offense. Its possible that they'll see that it was successful and turn over a new leaf, and if they did Weaver might have the value you're looking for, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
