Lesean McCoy in Pro Bowl over Lacy lol (1 Viewer)

Indeed. Lacy has been a beast while McCoy falls to the ground after first contact on way too many carries.
McCoy's not fat. These guys need to look good for TV. The QBs, for instance, will be Tom Brady and Mark Sanchez. Since all FG kickers are ugly, Brad Pitt will be an AFC kicker and Chris Hemsworth the K for the NFC.

The fact that this bothers someone is asinine. I didn't even know someone other than a kid actually followed this stuff.

The "Pro Bowl" designation only serves a purpose for the players and their agents at contract time. And the only incentive to go is to get a trip to Hawaii. It's just a name recognition popularity contest.

For me, "All-NFL" is the best barometer for determining the best players at their respective position.

McCoy getting the nod over Lacy is bad. I thought Levy should've made it too. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the Pro Bowl in Arizona this year not Hawaii.

How can Jimmy Graham get in and not Antonio Gates? I call for a re-vote.

My league gives $50 to the team that has the most Pro Bowlers (defenders count if you have that team defense). Flip those two players above around and I get $50.

A.J. Green making it at WR over Beckham, Maclin, etc. is far more egregious.

Having said that, it is definitely a joke that McCoy made it over Lacy (and to a lesser degree, Forte).

Let me tell you all how the Pro Bowl is important. At the end of a player's career and he's on the border of getting in the HoF...when you read off career accomplishments, "_-time Pro-Bowler" is one of the first things looked at.

The Pro Bowl is the dumbest thing ever.

Not that I wish injury upon anyone, but as soon as someone suffers a serious injury this thing will finally be put to rest.

Exactly. Who cares?
Merry Christmas to you fellas. You seem like such nice people to comment so harshly on something that according to you does not matter.

God knows people shouldnt care about football on a football website.

Your statement is even more asinine. Yeah the pro bowl lives off revenue from kids.
If the pro bowl interests you in any way then you seriously need to find more hobbies. I could give a #### about how it makes revenue.
You could? Not really saying much there...

As is everyone else here. Cheers

Where is the annual Pro Bowl complaining thread this year?
I think most of us know by now how meaningless the Pro Bowl and its selections are, so there's no point in having a big thread to ##### about it every year. We all know it's meaningless.

Not everyone plays fantasy football and some people get a kick out of knowing their favorite players or deserving players get in.

We understand there are some bitter people who do not like the ProBowl, but that does not mean you speak for everyone.

While I am not a fan of the ProBowl, does not mean others do not like it. Seems hard to understand for some I guess.

 It was an unnecessarily harsh staent to call me asinine. That just being a tool for no reason. If you didn't care then why even click on the thread?

I don't understand the need to belittle someone over a thread that is absolutely not asinine or meaningless. If you think the Pro Bowl is a farce then just state your opinion and leave, or don't participate at all.....don't try to humiliate the poster. Maybe to others it's meaningful who gets picked. I'm sure it is to the players....not necessarily because they want to play, because some of them don't, but when they talk about your career years later and mention how many Pro Bowls you were elected to I'm sure that means quite a bit pride-wise. And most here I'm sure don't think it's meaningless or asinine to bring it up.

It's so important that the selected players routinely find a way to miss it.

In the eyes of everyone, not just the players, It's obviously getting elected that's important.
