Wouldn't Vereen be same role as Sproles? This trade was a huge win for Philly. I cannot understand what Buf was thinking.
Someone mentioned it earlier but I bet Vereen ends up in Philly-not Spiller.

Agreed. From a real football standpoint, RB's are insanely overvalued. A very good linebacker is the better player to have.....especially when he is younger and cheaper. It's pretty hard to trade a RB for another player or pick in the NFL these days and NOT clearly win the trade. McCoy's contract and Alonso's age and pedigree make it even worse. The Richardson trade was a clear slam dunk win for Cleveland from day one, just like this trade is a huge win for Philly.
If the NFL behaved like some of my dynasty leagues, other NFL owners would be shouting collusion right now.
I don't think so. Vereen = Sproles in terms of role. They now need someone to pile up carries. This trade was a huge win for Philly. I cannot understand what Buf was thinking.

watMcCoy apparently doing what he can to stall trade according to espn
Any examples?McCoy apparently doing what he can to stall trade according to espn
Graham not expected to be back. With Connor Barwin, Kendricks, Graham, Curry and Fletcher Cox at least 6 of the Eagles front 7 will be quite good. I know you know Buffalo but you undervalue the talent in Philly.Everyone talking about shady going to a worse supporting cast but how about Kiko, coming off a torn up knee, going to a team that has no where near the d-line that Kiko got the luxury of playing behind?
He keeps saying stuff like he forgot his keys, and then goes back into the house. And then when he gets his keys, he remembers he was supposed to make a quick call. Stuff like that.Any examples?McCoy apparently doing what he can to stall trade according to espn

Hopefully the woman from this article can work something out for a new McCoy Bills jersey.

Great deal for the Eagles.
No, I didn't. I compared the trades of those two players, which involved other assets and factors. And, remember, at the time of that trade, many people still thought Richardson had real potential. Even if Richardson ended up being a competent starter, that trade was a massive runaway win for the Browns. This one is a clear win for the Eagles, as well. McCoy is very likely to be far better than Richardson, but the Browns got a 1st, and McCoy has an enormous contract at a position with qualities that are the polar opposite of the NFL Quarterback: enormous supply, modest demand, cheap to acquire, and a short shelf life.Did you seriously compare a total bust to a mulitple time Pro Bowler and the guy with the 3rd most yards by a RB since 2007? Come on man.

*Shadynasty ownerThis X100. As a Shady dynasty owner I'm so glad Shady is out of Philly not that Buffalo is a great alternative but I feel a change of scenario will be good for Shady.

Would be great news for Polk if all they did was bring in a passing-down specialist.Enter SHANE VEREEN to Philly.
Stupid article title. He has no loyalties to anyone he inherits and that's been par for the course for the entire existence of the NFL but not since Spurrier has someone been so emphatic about rostering their college players. Carroll tried a couple guys but mostly sent them packing.
Um what? DeSean Jackson would beg to differ.Fixed.Bart Hubbuch , New York Post, Sportswriter

I don't think Vereen and Sproles are alike much at all. Vereen had the role he had because that was how Belichick chose to use him, but I feel he could have handled a FAR bigger workload as a rusher than he did. Wouldn't be surprised if he had several 200+ touch seasons in him on a new team.I don't think so. Vereen = Sproles in terms of role. I love the guy but he didn't look the same at all from 13 to 14. Slower, less decisive, not as elusive etc. From Adam Schefter: From Week 5 to the end of the year last year, McCoy had the 2nd most total rushing yards in the league.
Yeah, sounds washed up.
OR, he had a few bad games when the offensive line was dealing with a ton of injuries.
Did someone actually refer to McCoy as washed up? Maybe I missed it. Saying he's peaked and washed up are far different sir. From Adam Schefter: From Week 5 to the end of the year last year, McCoy had the 2nd most total rushing yards in the league.

Thanks Bills.Don't know how reliable this guy is, he's with the bleacher report..
Michael Schotty: Source tells me Eagles wouldve cut LeSean McCoy and were just calling around to find *anything* for him. Bills only took 20min to say yes.

In Alonso/McCoy trade, each head coach thinks his system can "manufacture" production from position. Rex on D at ILB and Chip on O at RB.
Bills assume 10 mil, Philly 700k.I think this pretty much nails it

Ok, and how many NFL players have been stars after tearing their ACL more than once? Seems like that's an overlooked piece."He is entering his seventh season and he will turn 27 this summer. That might not seem old, but in running-back years, it's ancient." - Pete Prisco
I would be leery of this, absolutely, but they have some amazing predictive models for athletes after surgery. One involves a video game like setup with all those sensors placed on the person and they analyze things. It was posted here a while back and rather fascinating.Ok, and how many NFL players have been stars after tearing their ACL more than once?
