He couldn't break a tackle or run consistently between the tackles @ 217 [weight questionable at best] so I'm not sure how this helps his chances on being the horse on that team. I think Weaver's a vastly superior in tackle option. Bell, who I imagine will take a bit of Weaver's work, probably will be as well until he limps off the field.

Very poor man's Reggie Bush. Some flash and dash but little substance to his runs. Doesn't finish well and is a poor inside runner. With Weaver, Bell and now potentially Charles Scott on the roster, he will likely never be the short yardage guy. That said, he seems to be a hard worker and wants to get better, has a great opportunity and Philly's offense is loaded with weapons to keep it moving. He is a good receiver out of the backfield which is huge in that offense. If I were to project, his stats will mirror about 60-70% of Westbrook's production, making him a RB3 in a standard format and a RB2 in PPR.

One thing about McCoy is that he is very young... 22 this July. He has some time to mature as a player and for his body to mature... so, while I am not crazy about him, I sure won't write him off until I see more this season.

What did he like about him? I watched a ton of LSU games, and I did not come away impressed at all. Maybe as a short yardage back.
Scott and McCoy could be good in the backfield.
Weaver needs to get the ball from the FB spot. It's a waste to put him at tailback.
McCoy is going to be expected to be Brian Westbrook. He is going to take all of Westbrooks touches. Add in some Mike Bell until he gets dinged up and use Scott. I am so happy they got Scott. I have no idea why he dropped tithe Sixth round.
Buckley might stick around. He looked good in preseason last year but it's only preseason.
