LeSean McCoy (1 Viewer)

Wesbrook missed practice today and McCoy took all the first team snaps. The Eagles get a bye week 4 so why risk further injury? McCoy should be enough to win against the Chiefs shouldn't he?What kind of game could he have in his first game as a starter ? Who would you start him over if this unfolds for this weekend?

this is a great question for this week. My best guess is that Westbrook plays. The question is, how fast can they get out ahead of KC... and get McCoy in the game. They've got a bye next week and i'm sure they want to get Westy as much rest as possible so he can be full strength week 5. In a PPR, I am likely going with McCoy at flex over MSW, Chris Henry, Britt, Keller... I think he plays most of the second half and gets 4-5 catches. I'm looking for 13-15 from him. It's a tough one though. Curious as to more thoughts... also very tempted to start Mike Sims Walker.

expecting a floor of 10-14 FP in PPR if Westy plays but not his usual touches. If Westy is out or very limited, 18+ FP easy.

I was about the 5th or 6th poster in that thread you linked which talks about Wesbrook but no real extended discussion as to the amount of Fantasy points McCoy could see if they sit Wesbrook down. Forget if Wesbrook says he is just sore. He didn't suit up today and he has missed games each season due to injury in the past. He is an injury risk so why would they take the chance against a weak team like KC? I thought McCoy deserved his own thread anyway and there has been no lengthy discussion about him that I could find.

You are welcome.

(Rotoworld) Eagles beat reporter Geoff Mosher and ESPN's Adam Schefter both expect Brian Westbrook (ankle, questionable) to face Kansas City on Sunday, despite missing practice all week.

Analysis: Our own Chris Wesseling, who dabbles in investigating reporting (though usually for Dynasty league purposes), got the lowdown here. The Birds seem likely to put Westbrook on a snap count in such a winnable game, but he'd be impossible to sit if active. The Birds and Chiefs square off at 1ET Sunday.

It's looking like owning McCoy is going to mean riding the Westbrook injury report roller coaster . . . but without the big Westbrook games.

Also:

I heard (on ESPN?) that the Eagles have 10 specially designed Michael Vick plays.

If Westbrook does indeed go down, is McCoy's production capped by Vick's presence?

I would assume it would, you'd be stupid not to factor that in as many of his plays will be running plays. I have McCoy and I'm not sure I want to play the injury game...especially since this kid is a rookie after all.

Who has seen McCoy play? How does he look? I am really considering starting him and McGahee over Chris Johnson and F. Jones.

Dodds now has him in the top 10. He is still below my starters Forte and S. Jackson so it looks like he will still be on my bench but not by much.
