Let’s talk Gerhart vs Starks vs Todman (1 Viewer)

Kicking myself for picking up Starks over Todman.Tuesday night decision, made the wrong call. Todman will blow the F up this week. Jags running game has steadily improved the past few Weeks and everyone runs all over the Bills D.

Yeah i think todman is this weeks rainey. Dont get me wrong i wouldnt start him over sjax vs washington but there are a number of guys i would start him over this week. Hes a high rb2

I am playing Todman over CJ2K.
I like this call and I'm doing the same. On the year, ARI has only allowed four rushing TDs, allowed 100 yards rushing once, and only gave up 15+ points in my scoring system twice (M.Lynch and F.Gore).

In the last 4 weeks BUF has given up 15+ points each week and 5 TDs total.

So Johnson is sure to explode on my bench

Keep waffling between todman and Fred

Fred has been pedestrian last few weeks but he's otherwise been consistently finding end zone

Go with what got me here would be Fred but I did roll dice in Reece last week and that worked

Peterson and Gerhart both questionable. It would not surprise me one bit if ADP played. - I guess everyone will wait for the inactive lists and then decide, or do you just hedge your bet thinking both/either could come out at any instant and instead go with any one of choices C-D-E?
This is exactly how I am looking at it. I don't trust Peterson or Gerhart to be effective this week. Going with option "C" in Todman. Seems like the safer and higher upside play.

I'm trying to talk myself into playing Todman over Andre Brown and BJGE. Probably going with Green-Ellis at this point, because I think he has a higher floor. I just wish Todman's game was at 4:15 so I could get a early look at the early scoring before I made the decision.
I'm also considering Todman over Brown for my RB2. I always kick myself for over thinking things and going away from the players that got me here.
Yeah, I always over think things too. I think Brown gains value in PPR. He's been getting 3 catches a week, and could easily have 5 or 6 with Eli throwing to that secondary. However, my league is 1PPR after 5 catches, so I think he's riskier. With Hillis taking the goal line carries, I'm not sure I see Brown scoring from outside of 6 or 7 yards against that defense. Todman on the other hand has a great matchup and should get all of the carries. Todman scares me because I've never actually seen him play. I lost Gronkowski last week, and Julius Thomas had a dud Thursday so I can't afford a stinker.
Neither has Buffalo ...just sayin

I have to start two RBs, PPR, no flex.

I have Lacy, Gerhart, Todman and Ogby.

Lacy looks like my RB1.

Going with Todman RB2.

Obby is a trap play. The team never runs, he hasnt had more than 8 carries in a game, and hes a fumbler
ya, his fumbles scare me. earlier in the year, the team vowed to increase his workload but he had 2 costly fumbles that relegated him back to spot duty.

unfortunately, I'm pretty much forced to start him unless I go with waiver fodder or lamar miller.

...

Matt Asiata, anyone? In a scenario where Gerhart and Peterson both don't play, he would be in line for plenty of work. Frazier has insisted the Vikings will remain a run first team no matter who is back there. I know very little about him. He is a big back and had some decent success in a preseason game.

I'm going to go with him if both Viking backs are out. I figure the eight carry limit was when McGahee was healthy, so hopefully Ogb will get quite a few touches against a poor defense and maybe at least one scoring opportunity...

Impact on Todman? Shorts ain't playing today:

A source tells ESPN's Adam Schefter that Cecil Shorts (groin) won't play in Sunday's Week 15 game against the Bills.

I've got to imagine this means they'll stack the box against the run. Not very good for Todman (or MJD if he plays).
yes because they have to sell the farm for a guy nobody has ever heard of
Or because they want to win the game and it would be more likely for them to establish a run instead of passing to no-name receivers. Seriously, why does everyone need to be so ####### snarky.

And one other thing is that if the Jags score they will be more likely to be trying to run it in.

im sorry...wasnt trying to be snarky....just think they will play a base defense ...honestly the Bills dont need to take any one player away IMO

Per RW

Jordan Todman is starting Sunday's Week 15 game against the Bills.
Maurice Jones-Drew (hamstring) is inactive. The Jags were already trying to get Todman some touches as part of a committee, so now they'll get to take a long look at him as a feature back. He gets to face the Bills' No. 26 run defense, is playing at home and beat writer Hays Carlyon is expecting 17-22 touches. Todman has struggled in limited regular season work, but did post a 22/223/2 line in the preseason.

Now I'm considering Todman over Rice.

Todman all day over Rice

Todman or Asiata? Two unknowns. Todman has the speed and Buffalo has been allowing big plays in the run game. However, I would feel better about it if Shorts were playing because he stretches the field. On the other hand Gerhart has been impressive as a battering ram in Minnesota's offense and maybe Asiata can be similarly effective (also a big back).

Not the kind of decision you want to be making in week 15.

The Jags an still use Lewis at TE to stretch the field and keep 8 men out of the box.

People grind over fantasy football all season only to have guys like Matt Asiata and Jordan Todman win or lose your league in week 15 :lmao:
