Ok fellas, what just sitting here thinking about this and i wonder where i would draft/rank these guys if the cards happen to fall like this:

For this one i would draft them like this:McFadden

Stewert

Mendenhall

Charles

Jones

Rice

Smith

If it played out like this it sure would make me wish i had alot of picks, i took the top 3 cause of there talents really, but Rice on seattle and Charles on the Texans sure makes in real intriguing to wanna move them up. That would be an interesting rookie draft.

NFL DRAFT 2008 UCB2

This one i would rank like this. Mendenhall

Sterwert

McFadden

Rice

Jones

Charles

Smith

I believe if the texans were to get there hands on a top 3 talented rb he will produce MEGA fantasy numbers, we have a good offense in place now and just missing the rb. Same thing with seattle. I know some will jump down my throat for moving DMAC down but ATL just doesnt have a good run line no more, and GUESS what, A.Gibbs isnt there anymore............he's now with the TEXANS. DMAC still will be good maybe even great, but i would rank my top 3 like that. If i had too much time on my hand i might would even consider Rice on the Broncos over Dmac on atl. Well i dont think i would draft it like that but if i could trade down and get ALOT i would consider that. Charles with the Browns would be interesing.

Now i wish the draft happened like this for real. thats a STRONG 6 picks.

FELIX JONES is special, but if paired with MBIII, we would be looking at another MDJ w/o the td's maybe.

With a scenario like this I would consider Malcolm Kelly or Chris Johnson at 1.7. Depending on where he lands, but in a ppr league Johnson could come up big if he is paired with a bruising 1st-2nd down RB. Fewer and fewer teams are using a true every down back, so why not take a chance on his sick speed, also his weight is right around many of the other RB's.

I normally draft talent over situation, but frankly, the top 3 are close enough that situation matters.

Honestly, we should go through RB needy teams and figure out which RB's fit well.

For instance, Mendenhall with the Texans would be a great fit...why b/c he was in a zone blocking offense in college.

Ray Rice would look great with the Seahawks..or the Bears... but we know Benson will lead the way there.

etc.

One that I think is intriguing, what if Steve Slaton went to Denver? That could be an amazing match, b/c if there was one offense he would fit....it would be Denvers.

b/c its a very quick read and hit the hole scheme, I just think that Slaton could thrive if given that chance. With many other teams, he may not.

It is a one cut system perfect for a speedy back. Slaton will be good in the NFL if he hits Denver. Other places... maybe RBBC guy.

Ironically, it's the less speedy guys who have most thrived in that system. Davis, Gary, Anderson, and Portis are known for other things besides their speed. It's the speedsters like Bell who have been mediocre there and haven't lasted.I think Slaton's NFL upside is around Kevin Faulk's.

my take as well, him and a few others i see being a D.Sproles type.....Kick returner/special teams and gaget play and basically 3rd or 4th on there teams depth charts.

I like Felix Jones. If he gets drafted in Dallas he will see the field plenty. MBIII will be the starter and bell cow but his understudy will get plenty of time because of his running style.
