Lex Hilliard week 12 RB sleeper (1 Viewer)

The Dolphin running machine should run all day on the BAD Bills run defense and there should be enough running plays to support 2 Miami running backs. Hilliard did not get a lot of looks last week but he did look good and the Dolphins will have more time to get him into the game plan.

"If" we hear good things for Hilliard coming out of Miami this week I think he could be a good play.

I've rostered him in a couple of leagues, but as more of a wait and see. You could do worse as a desperation play for this week.

Guess I'm out on an island with this one.

I'm with you. Hilliard looked dang good. If he starts getting touches, look out. Could be a real nice sleeper down the stretch. I like him as a sleeper going forward, as well (dynasty).
Curious about people's thoughts on Hilliard's dynasty prospects.Brown is a FA and may not be back, while Ricky will be 33 next year. Could Hilliard actually carve out a meaningful role for next year?

Ricky will be 33 next year but he's certainly not playing like it. He's also signed through next year.Re: Ronnie - If there is no new CBA, which it looks like there won't be, he will be a RFA if he voids his 6th year. Meaning, Miami won't need to re-sign him to a long term deal, but can slap a 1st and 3rd round tender which will probably be around $3 million. With no salary cap, that is no problem for the Dolphins.

If there is a new CBA, Brown would become a free agent if he voided his 6th year(I believe it is his option). However, since he is ending the season on IR, it would be hard for any team top give him a long term deal. He would be better off not voiding the deal and proving to the Dolphins and the rest of the league that he is healthy for a potential big deal in the 2011 offseason. I would say there is probably an 90% chance he is back with the Dolphins in 2010.

Hilliard is a tough call right now. While I see him getting more touches as the season wears on to spell Ricky it's hard to tell how mnay he'll get this weekend. For this Sunday I'd guess anywhere from 5-10.

Edit to add: Also hearing that Sheets has been taking WildCat snaps in parcatice

I've got my eye on him but I'd have to drop some other flyers to grab him up. If he blows up this week then I blew it. I am always last in waivers.
