:rotflmao: He is going to drown with his sinking "Chris Brown sucks" ship this year.

When you love yourself THAT much it is tough to admit you're wrong.

GB him.

If a tree (LHUCKS) falls (brags) in the woods (the Shark Pool) and nobody is around, does it make a sound?

That ship won't be sinking...keep drafting him in the 3rd round and see how far it gets you! We'll see who is "wrong."

I would like to just go on record as voting for the Colin Dowling/LHUCKS debate over Chris Brown to be the best thread I have seen in my month or so on this board. Sensational.

One thing I want to clarify about your constantly shifting position on this--after Chris Brown succeeds, I'll encourage everyone to read the thread well, so that they see you advocating Brown as a bust at an ADP of 6.04, not just in the 3rd round. I think Brown will succeed even as a 3rd rounder, but you don't get to shift your position as his ADP goes up, driven by all of those who are seeing the light.

I am a big suupporter of Brown, but how exactly is this ship going down. Do you have a time machine or something? IRRC the 2004 season has not yet been played. Just becuase someone is in the minority does not mean they are wrong.

The threads say it all. No need to re-hash until the regular season provides vindication. If you feel the need to revisit the topic now, please bump the Chris Brown thread and we'll go from there. :boxing:

I would pay you to go away. theres your premium content.
Hi THere,Are you the one organizing the collection? What's your PayPal address? TIA.
these comments are really unfortunate. Agree or disagree, love him or hate him, LHUCKS is one of the best contributors to this board, and I bet you even Dowling would say so.He just happens to REALLY like himself, and doesn't try to hide it.Also, he will admit it when he is wrong about Chris Brown, it is just that it might be tough to understand as it will only come when he is a 100ft beneath the surface. :D

He is going to drown with his sinking "Chris Brown sucks" ship this year.
Or with his love for Garrison Hearst. Either way, though, I admire LHUCKS for taking a position on issues, and being willing to go against the grain. That always makes for valuable discussions.

Also, he will admit it when he is wrong about Chris Brown
That's exactly right. I'm the fist to admit that I'm wrong. I take stances on almost every controversial player...of course I'll be wrong some of the time.I was already wrong when I stated that there was no way Eddie George wouldn't re-sign with the Titans. I was wrong and I admitted it. I still can't believe he's with the Cowboys.I would welcome anybody to find somebody that has put out as many opinions as I have and at the same time has never been wrong. Hint...you wont find it.

You didn't admit it when I called you 'smug', and we all know that was right! ;) I look forward to reading your Premium content when you post it. Well thought out posts - right or wrong - are always welcome.Check out my sig...Colin

That argument is not looking good. With respect to a particular player, he may be the player I was most wrong on. That being said, I wasn't pimping him as a 3rd or 2nd round draft choice...I was pimping him as a value pick in the middle rounds. The Q. Griffin mania is out of control.

Per several requests I'll be releasing the following after I finish my SOS II draft for those that are interested:

a) my top sleepers at each position

b) my cheatsheet rankings

c) my top busts at each position

Other LHUCKS "Instant Classics"

FBG RB Rankings Critique

LHUCKS and I are in almost perfect agreement on draft strategy. Therefore, he must be brilliant. As far as player projections go, though, we're hit or miss - we both like Kevin and Thomas Jones, but we completely disagree on the Denver RB situation - I've liked Bell from day 1; he's liked Hearst, which means it will probably be Griffin. Just as a thought, any chance you'd email your premium content to Clayton before we finish the SOS II draft? I'd love to see how many of "your guys" I end up getting, instead of a list of guys you drafted.

You have to admit Q looked good. The "mania" may be out of control, but the simple fact is if you can land the Denver RB in the fourth round or later as an RB#3, you could very well be on your way to a championship. Also, if Q runs really well, only injury will demote him this year.

You've seen his Survivor II roster. Are you sure you want to claim you agree perfectly with his strategies?

My goodness! Will someone give this guy a FFL job already so that he'll stop having to prove how he's more of an expert than the rest of us? Either that, or get him a girlfriend and/or some additional hobbies. I'll volunteer to be one of his positive references for a FBGs.com interview, just so Joe and David can tell him to "cool it in the discussion boards or find another job".......... :wink1: Why do some people care so much about what other people think anyway? Let's just say it's a lot easier to respect/admire folks who will own-up and say "I got it wrong" then it is listening to people do the Eric Cartman dance of joy.......Eric Cartman: "You guys are hella-stupid. You guys are hella-lame. You guys are hella-stupid. Hella hella hella."....whenever they think/know they got it right.Sheesh. Whether you get it right OR wrong on some of your predictions though, LHUCKS, please take a step back, take a deep breath and say "WTFGARA" if/when guys disagree with you.

On Griffina) his injury risk is enormousb) when everybody is healthy I believe Q is the 3rd most talented RB in Denver...that doesn't bode well for him...Q is lucky that he's the only healthy one of the bunch. Anderson is a better goalline runner.c) I say Denver is a RBBCd) Like John Madden said, "I don't think this kid can carry the ball 20 times a game" - paraphraseHe is being taken in the 3rd round in guppie drafts. It'll be interesting to see where he goes in SOS II which will probably the best commentary draft out on any website. My guess is not until the late 4th. I wish I could talk about that draft now! It is very, very, very good. Look for it to be released by FBG in a week or so. It should be the blueprint for any 12 team survivor draft. There hasn't been a single reach IMO.

The survivor draft where I finished 3rd out of 12....I'm pretty sure they all know about it.

A) if "cooling it" means I can't take minority stances on specific players or critique survivor leagues regardless of the participants....it's not going to happen. B) I welcome disagreement...there isn't enough of it on this board.

Draft <> Auction.
I'm very much looking forward to the release of that draft and corresponding writeups. I'm going to get flamed for my unorthodox approach...but I'll be the one laughing in the end...even without Shipp. Shipp doesn't help though - :wall: :wall: :wall:

I don't want to go into too much detail on unreleased content, but since you mentioned him by name...Even a healthy Shipp would have been as useful to that roster as a sponge would have been to the Titanic.

We'll see about that. Mr. "Hearst-at-the-flex" GregR

Ok, what part of not naming players on rosters of unreleased content are you not grasping?I'm sorry I even said anything now. It's clear that even trying to talk in generalities was too much with you. If I don't just stop talking, you're going to just keep adding more, so fine. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said anything.

It's just one player...and a cheap one. Sheesh Greg...wrong side of the bed?

:goodposting:I'm predicting LHUCKS will go into hiding once that monstrosity of a team is posted for everyone to see. Good luck selling any "premium" content after admitting responsibility for that train wreck.might want to stick to drafting against guppies and critiquing from the sidelines. at least that way, your ego won't get too banged up. ;)

You mean my monstrous team...with my "Big Three" I could have your grandmother at my WR#3 and still outsurvive your pathetic squad.Maybe next year you'll be able to get me.Rudnicki = :own3d: ...again.

I was put off by the negativity in this thread. I'll let my ff teams in my sig do the talking this year. As for those posting the negative comments...how's the view from the cheap seats? I may become a Joffer...short, sarcastic blurbs.

Son of Survivor 2 was apparently a humbling experience.

I had my team ranked #2 before the Shipp Injury...#4 with. Didn't you rank my squad #3 even without Shipp?I have my team ranked #1 in SOS II...Dodds should be releasing that sometime this week.If either of those drafts were "humbling" it's not apparent in my rankings.
