To all the league commisioners i was wondering what you guys use as a deadline time for getting your starting line-up in. In my current league we set the deadline as 1hr. before gametime on Sunday. I like this because it forces owners to make critical decisions Some of my owners have decided they want to change this rule and the majority have voted to make the change. I will change it but i wanted to get a feel for what you other commisioners felt about this am I wrong??

15 minutes before the first game on Sunday is when the lineups are locked...

For Thursday or Saturday games, 15 minutes until they are locked, but they can still make other changes for the rest of the non-locked players...

I personally think it should be right at game time. I can not fault a FF owner who researches the game inactives for GTD players. I also feel that a player should not be locked until his game.

We do just before game-time. We use rtsports and like many online sites, you can set the time. No real reason i see to make people get their line-up in any earlier. Sometimes you just get in before the games starts and you find some last minute info and should be able to change. I don't think anyone would complain about that (unless you are the commish and you have to do it all manually)

line ups in by the first kickoff on sundays. all three of my leagues are like that

In our league you can start or sit a player up until that players game starts.

Helps out for GTD in the 4:15 games.

5 minutes before gametime for all players (each player's respective game).

i cannot think there should be any other deadline. Why should ANY game be decided because someone found out information just before gametime but couldn't make a switch?

This is similar to how we do it in my league. The only difference is that we allow owners to make changes right up to the 12:00 kickoffs. After that the lineups are locked.
