Lions needs as per NFL.com

QB, LB, OL, DL, WR

Needs Analysis: The Lions hope to have the No. 1 overall pick signed before the draft. That could rule out a quarterback as the top selection, and a tackle might be the direction Detroit goes. The Lions want to get big on defense, so a linebacker in the 240-pound range and a stout tackle will be targets on draft day.

If Aaron Maybin drops this far, then the Lions would have to at least consider him even though OT is a bigger need. Ebon Britton would be the top rated OT prospect still on the board. William Beatty would be another option.

Why on earth would they draft a rb? I don't believe Kevin Smith is elite but for all the holes they have, he's serviceable enough.

Vontae Davis here and then grab Michael Johnson at 2.1. I can't believe CB isn't listed as a need. Travis Fischer has to be the worst starting CB in the league.

Taking the 5th best OT doesn't seem like good value here.

LOL. Re-read what I wrote, I said it would be "cool" but won't happen. The only reason it would be "cool" is to have Stafford & Moreno together.
