Lions are worth $747 million. So you propose giving Jimmy Johnson 185 million dollars to straighten the franchise out plus a 5 million dollar salary? I don't think so.

The Lions are owned by Ford. They don't care about winning as evidenced by the other company that bears his name. The only way this franchise will ever get turned around is to move it as far away from any Ford influence as possible. But since Ford spends hundreds of millions on advertising for the NFL, that will probably never happen.

so what behavior should the Fords emulate?I think the motor Company will come around in another few years.. that stuff doesn't change easy... the car business and football are good bit different...many teams have flipped form worst to first, while the lions are consistent what SHOULD they do...??

Just linking for interest value. Tigers and Wings are worth about the same, a third of the Lions unfortunately. Also agree with Twin Turbo, Fords suck.
