It's Thursday, so that means two hours of live audible at 10 eastern. We'll take questions from this thread, from the chat room (a/s/l?), and of course from callers at (347) 826 7620.

Don't forget, you'll also get to hear Cecil's Rant of the Week!

Cecil's thoughts on Flacco starting and not sitting and developping which seems to be the best move for a young QB most of the time

Bloom what rookies to temper expectations on

Andrew thoughts on Jax line injuries, it's effect on the team/gameplan(still run alot?) and the Jags WW pickups

I would like to hear his thoughts on how he thinks the Bears will do this year and what kind of fantasy production to expect out of Greg Olsen and Matt Forte.

Also, why is everybody saying the Colts only lost cause Peyton Manning was rusty. How come nobody gives credit to the Bears for the win? Are they legit contenders for the North? Just want to hear what non-Bears Homers have to say about.....DDDDaaa Bears.

Which of the three new non-Cassel starting QB's this week is most valuable for someone in a 2 QB league to have as a bye week fill-in -- Will Collins, Huard, or Griese be most likely to still be starting in week 8?

In a non PPR Dynasty League, other than the top few tight ends in the league, how much effort should one put into the tight end position? Since you guys are so thorough I am sure you will cover other types of leagues as well, but please discuss use of roster space, position value, etc.

We Chris Johnson owners were able to cash in on his first week's production and can be happy with what we saw from this dynamic play-maker. Is the coaching staff of the Titans savvy enough to use this guy correctly and not expose him to being physically over-used? I am afraid that with the dearth of play-makers on this team he will be pounded into submission a-la Cadillac Williams.

Out of the two pathetic offensive performances in Week One (Bengals and Rams) which team will bounce back more in Week Two and put up the numbers that we expected from everyone before last Sunday? If neither, then which players on either offense will at least put up a respectable amount of points?

Cecil I would like to know in a non ppr league 6pts per rec and rushing td, would you start Thomas Jones at home vs Pats, or Chris Johnson at Cinci? My other backs are lynch and selvin.

And also if you dont mind Calvin vs GB or Cotchery vs Pats this week to go along with Randy Moss.

Thanks

I'd be curious to learn the Audible's take on whether it is wise, and a good hedge, to build your WR corps around two quality receivers from the same team -- in this case Marshall and Royal. Or, if you find yourself in this position, is it a better idea to trade one for a like-valued WR on another team?

Question for Mr. Bloom. You're real high on Chris Johnson this week against the Bengals in your projections. You have him projected over studs like Jacobs, Lynch, Westbrook, Grant, LJ, and more. Can you put together a quick sales pitch to convince some of us that are "on the fence" that it is worth it to take the risk of ridicule and bench a "must start" back (like Lynch or LJ) in favor of a rookie who has had one impressive game?

What is the current status of Cadillac Williams?

Odds of him coming back this season?

Can he return to his rookie form?

What advice do you have for people who lose their first round pick to injury early in the season? Not necessarily how to replace Brady this season, but general advice for anyone who finds themself in a similar situation. What's the best way to handle it when it happens, and what's the best way to prepare for it during the draft?

Hey guys!

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank Sig anc Cease because I just got a FBG magazine in the mail today for doing that survey for ON Networks and the 5 minute (you know the) Drill

:goodposting: A nervous Holt owner here.

Hey guys love all of ur podcast.. especially the IDP !

im from Israel so 22:00 ET is 5 in the morning for me.. so im downloading the podcast few hours later the morning after .

Colston owner here.. should wait the 5 weeks or try shop him coz every1 (especially in 20 managers league) sit on there eggs and wont trade now but just for low low value..

every1 have Slaton Hou Rb.. a. whats the real A.Green status and how time he is out? 2. who to pick.. C.Taylor or D.Walker?

about Mia WR.. damm Parcell and his pupet coach.. read him saying during today training .... that D.Hagan is experiment as WR1 and nothing over in the starting WR core.. , whitch 2 WR start and play the most ?

im sure that alot of my other Q's would be answers during the 2 hours.. have a great evening and weekend, Amit .

P.S. IDP Q:

i have DL starting MLB in Den N.Webster .. and he performe well 7-4 last season.. and his position MLB get alot of points-tackles usually..

so keep him or try trade him with DB N.Clement SF (that every1 draft high and made just 1 ### last week so it an oppurtinity) ?

My 5th spot is either T. Jones or H. Ward. I'm leaning to Ward because of matchup thoughts ? I could do 1 RB and 4WRS or 2rbs AND 3 WRS. That's why im trying to chose between the to.

Does John Carlson have a realistic chance to be a Top 12 TE this season? At this rate Courtney Taylor is going to get hurt playing Nintendo Wii.

Hey yinz guys, longtime listener, first time poster..got these for you:

1) With Colston out, which WR steps up and how does Colston's injury affect Bush's numbers (rec as well) from here on out?

2) With Curtis and Brown out in Philly, will DeSean Jackson and LJ Smith continue to step up? Will their numbers stay similar once Brown and then Curtis returns? I think Jackson's numbers take a bigger hit than Smith's, but what are your thoughts?

Not to mention, can McNabb keep it up without these WRs going up against DAL, PIT, CHI the next few weeks

Hello The Audible -

First off - Love the show. You guys do a great job. You've been on my ipod for the past two years and I've listened to you on car trips around the country, to/from work, on the golf course, in the gym. I think you're the best show in FF - far, far better than the ESPN show.

Now that that's out of the way, some questions..

1 - Denver RBs - I know you are the experts on Shanahan's brain. I drafted S Young as my #3. I have Barber, Jacobs, C Johnson, S Young and M Morris. Will S Young amount to anything or would you drop him for someone like Pierre Thomas or Rudi Johnson (both available)??

2 - Ted Ginn - he didn't look like a WR #1 to me. Couldn't get open, ran soft routes, didn't use his body. Pennington looked his way often but there was nothing there. Your thoughts? I'm hurting at WR 3 with Curtis, Hackett and Ginn right now. I'm tempted to drop one of them for another sleeper candidate like Antonio Bryant, C Taylor or Bruce. Love your thoughts.

Thanks again and keep up the great work!

M

Joseph Addai was projected in the top 10 RB on almost everyone's books. He hasn't rushed for 100yds in 11 games. Does he still deserve to be considered an elite RB?

Chris Johnson (TEN RB)

Rankings and Projections for Week 2 are all over the shop showing that opinion is mixed on his chances this week. Is he the next ADP (Bloom Rankings) or an RB2/3 (Dodds Rankings) ?

my team needs RB help badly...Ive got a decent offer but dont know if its good enough...this is a PPR Re-Draft, please help...my current RBs are Jamal Lewis, Lendale White, Chris Perry, Slaton, Kevin Jones and McClain, and Ive got 3 stud WRs in Moss, Wayne and Calvin Johnson with Engram on my bench...so, should I make the following trade or stay put? My worry is Moss/Wayne and Lendale are as good or better than Bowe and Parker so whats the point in trading, am I wrong?

BTW, I start 2RBs 2WRs 1flex WR/RB

Get...Willie Parker and D.Bowe

Give...Reggie Wayne

"Del-home". :lmao:

It never gets old.

Glad I got to listen to the 2nd half of this today. Missed some good stuff since I had to dip early.

For those of us with QB troubles and short benches, who deserves the roster spot between WRs such as Antonio Bryant, Rashied Davis, Josh Morgan... looking more for possible upside than slow and steady production

thnx

I think Bryant will come alive with Griese - I would definitely drop Davis for a QB, and probably drop Morgan too, since Bryant Johnson looked good in the opener.
