Live Escape Room (1 Viewer)

Has anyone here ever done or heard of this? It is sort of like those escape the room apps on your phone, except for you are really placed into a room and have 60 minutes to escape. A group of 4 of us did it in Palm Beach last night and had a pretty good time.

My family did one in Austin, TX ( http://www.austinpanicroom.com/) while vacationing there and we liked it so much we went back and did a 2nd room.

Just found out this past week that one will be opening soon in our city (Indianapolis) and we're already making plans to do it over our kids' fall break.

Great family outing or for company outings or team building.
That looks pretty cool. We had a good time.

My friends have done a couple in the Denver area including one that had a zombie actor in it that you had to avoid while trying to get out. Some of those rooms only have like a 20% success rate.

I did 2 in the past 3 months. They're a blast. I was with a group of 6 both times. We were 3 minutes away from escaping the first room, and we escaped the second room with 10 minutes to spare.

Really fun, highly recommend Paniqroom Hollywood.

I heard good things about the zombie in chains type. I might do it around Halloween.

They're a blast. Tons in my area. Have worked with a buddy of mine helping design some. Really tough ones have about a 99% fail rate. Some are much simpler. Zombie ones are fun but less of an intellectual challenge. Nothing wrong with either.

One of these is a 2 minute walk from my beach place. Had no idea what it was until now. Might try it next time I'm there.

For those who go to ocmd, it's on the corner of 120th street.

I know/think there's another thread about this where I shared my experience with an absolutely terrible one here in NYC (in koreatown)- set was awful- as if my 5 and 9yo kids decided to decorate a room. also, a couple of the puzzles didn't work. still fun though.

haven't been over that way since they closed the OTB in the Playwright Tavern ... but your description seems apropos to the general vibe of that 'hood -
