LJ Smith injury update (1 Viewer)

Also not practicing (yesterday) was tight end L.J. Smith, who played briefly last Sunday against the Jets, catching one pass for 8 yards. Reid had said Monday that Smith was sore, "but it's a good sore."

It didn't sound quite so good yesterday, when Reid reiterated that Smith was sore and added: "We've got to let that thing calm down and see how he does here in the next couple days."

I don't hold out much hope for a significant contibution from LJ this year.
