Lofa Tatupu and Shaun Philips (1 Viewer)

I was a bit disappointed in Lofa Tatupu's and Shaun Philips' stats the past two weeks. I know that IDP stats can be up and down week to week, so I'm interested in knowing if these guys are still playing strong and just had two off weeks in a row or if they're showing some fatigue. Can anyone here who has watched their games the last two weeks provide some insight? Are their motors still going full throttle, but just had some bad luck?

I've seen Tatupu play some the last couple of weeks. It seems to me he is blitzing more than usual. It looks like the motor is still going strong, but hasn't put himself in good positions to make plays. I'm sure someone who has een more of him will give you a better scoop. As for Phillips haven't really seen much of him.

Tatupu hasn't been tackling well for some reason -- no injury that I'm aware of -- but he's been around the ball plenty. His big play value may kick back up with the Seattle offense playing better.Phillips has been bothered by a bunch of nagging injuries. Getting over the calf problem, then an elbow injury, and he was in/out of last week's game with a hamstring injury. Still, his production has been about what you'd expect of top 3-4 OLB all season long.

Yep he's missed some tackles and has been around the ball, just not gettin there in time to make the play, for whatever reason. I'm sure better LB play is a factor.
