Looking for alternative to Sportline (1 Viewer)

I'm looking for a cheaper/free alternative to Sportsline's fantasy football. They raise the prize every single year and we have reached the point where we just won't take it any more. We need to customize the rules and live scoring would be nice. ESPN.com is close, but it won't allow us to change scoring by position. For example we give more points for yards to TE's than other positions. This makes the TE's slot a position to get excited about, not just a slot to fill. We also allow any valid football formation. That means 2QBs+2RB's, 1QB+3RB's, or 1QB+5WR's. ESPN won't allow this as there is no flex position for a QB slot. Anyone have a suggestion?

I know exactly what you mean. I asked cbs for a discount and they said no so I said see ya later. We moved to myfantasyleague.com and love it. Since we switched over from cbs they gave us half off and it cost just $44.95 for the season. Espn is garbage but it's free. Yahoo is probably the best free site to use.

Yahoo doesn't have live scoring, does it?

I'm not sure. I haven't used them in a couple years.

Yahoo does have live scoring. If I understand what you mean by that term. They have the same kind of setup that ESPN has including an iPhone app.

Thanks! I know it used to cost $10/year/person to have live scoring in the past.
Not sure if you've settled on your new league yet, but I get a discount for Sportsline through a web site I work for. Here's the link if you're interested.http://football.cbssports.com/splash/footb...fs_ros_iab_0118

myfantasyleague is great and I highly recommend it.

I also want to pass on a free league site that allowed me to set up a unique style league a couple years ago. I wanted a true roto (like in baseball) and no other site I found would let me create that, but they were and best of all it was free. I willbe honest, it is nothing fancy...but they responded to my emails and worked with me in setting up my league. This is a big bonus for me.

Anyway the site is fleaflicker.
