Hey guys, one of the owners in a dynasty league I'm starting this year can't make the initial auction draft. Something came up for him that can't be avoided the weekend of our draft. This is a group of friends, not random people, and he helped me form the league charter, so I want him to stay in the league. He doesn't really know anyone who can draft in his place, so I thought I'd reach out to the FBG boards to see if anyone is interested.
What's in it for you? Being FBG folks, I thought you might think it fun and it also gives you a real-life practice auction (I would, otherwise I wouldn't be asking). He will provide a draft sheet with who to target, who to avoid, and which positions to stack up on - I've asked him to keep it simple. He is a consistent league champion in several redraft leagues, so it shouldn't be too painful.
Here are the details: The draft will take place on CBS Sportsline on 7/19 at Noon Central Time. There is a budget of $200 to be used in its entirety (or at least close). It is a PPR league, contract lengths are determined after the draft. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex, 1 PK, 1 DEF. Scoring is pretty standard + PPR. We are drafting 22 man rosters, each position must be filled. The auction should take 5-6 hours. 30 seconds to nominate, 30 seconds to bid.
