I was wondering if there is already a thread or an article on Footballguys.com, that lists the basic history or current thoughts of some of the new Offensive Coordinators & the new Head Coaches.

I think that this year there has been a HUGE shift across the rankings in Re-Draft leagues, and this information could be beneficial in ranking these players better.

Tell me what you think.

This is a one team "sample" I think they need to be thought out.

And they take alot of research/time.

Arizona Cardinals Head Coach: Dennis Green

Offensive Coordinator: Keith Rowen

Dennis Green Coaching Stats Here

The History of these two: Coached together in Minnesota 1994 thru 96’ when Green was the Head Coach. Rowen has been Tight Ends Coach in KC the last 6 years. This will be his 1st Season as the offensive coordinator in AZ.

Dennis Green is a Bill Walsh protégé whose roots are solidly in the West Coast Offense scheme. Throw to set up the run.

XXX's Key Stats Comments:

Rushing analysis: Dennis Green has never coached a RB that had 300+ Carries. His Highest Total given to a RB is 295, Robert Smith in 2000. In 10 of 12 seasons as a Head Coach Greens Rushing attempts are in the BOTTOM half of the league.

QB/Receiving analysis: In 9 of 12 Seasons as Head Coach (HC) Greens passing attempts on Offense have been in the TOP half of the League, including 2005 as the Highest passing attempts in the league.

Fantasy Impact: Green and Rowen should be Fantasy Gold in 2006. Rowen has Coached Tony Gonzalez for 6 years in KC, and helped Napoleon Kaufman to a 1300 yard season in 1997. Greens career numbers as a HC say it All, Kurt Warner, Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Bolden will succeed in the passing game. Edgerrin James should be solid and I would think a 275 carry back.

This offensive system places a higher value on the passing game than the running game.

Would like to hear your thoughts...
