What's up?! My name is Luke, and I am looking for three people to join a fantasy football league I am creating. This is an intro to dynasty/keeper, with modified scoring, rosters, and playoff format.
BASIC:
10 teams, half PPR, no tie breakers, no regular season home field advantage.
Roster:
Total Size: 25 players (28 including IR)
QB: Max 4
RB: Max 8
WR: Max 8
TE: Max 4
D/ST: Max 3
K: Max 3
Scoring:
Half PPR
Passing: .045 points per 1 yard, .10 points per completion, -.10 per incompletion, -.25 per sack
Rushing: .15 points per rush attempt, 1 point for 40+ yd rush td, 2 points for 50
Receiving: .50 points per reception, 1 point for 40+ yd receiving td, 2 points for 50
Kicking: PAT missed -1 point, miss from 60 is -1, from 50 is -1.5, 40 is -2, 0 to 39 is -3
D/ST: Forced Fumble 1 point, Pass defended .25, Stuffs .25, KR and PR .05 points per yard
Playoffs:
6 teams, three rounds. Teams 1 and 2 get byes the first week of playoffs. If you have a higher seed, you get an automatic 5 points for home advantage.
These are just the basics in terms of roster structure and scoring. This is going to be a dynasty league, however, the players drafted this season will not carry over to the next season. Everyone I am bringing into the league either has never played dynasty/keeper, or just has not played fantasy football at all. With that being said, this is why I want this season to be an introduction into expanded rosters, more trading, etc. Next season's rosters will be the foundation of our keeper league.
So, if you have not played dynasty before but always wanted to, here is a good way to get yourself introduced to it, and to the others in the league. We are all pretty chill. Some people text a lot in our group chat, some rarely do. We all are different races, backgrounds, and range from ages 21 to like 30's. If you join and you don't really like what dynasty is all about, then you can leave at the end of the season, no problem, no hard feelings.
Yes, it's going to be a short season, so I might end up expanding the playoffs to all ten teams, just because
