I am an experienced fantasy football player and am looking to get back into the dynasty format. I used to play in a VERY competitive dynasty league with real life friends, but as people grew older, families grew larger, and responsibilities grew more demanding, the league started to fade and rather than replace with unfamiliar faces from the internet, we simply stopped having be a high intensity dynasty league.
Well, that dynasty itch has returned and I am looking to join a competitive league that can offer the level of challenge and detail I had come to love from dynasty formats.
I am only interested in 12+ team leagues (12 or 14 teams would be ideal for me), with some form of IDP (I would actually prefer a light IDP, something along the lines of 1-3 players). I would also prefer a non PPR league, as I have not participated in a PPR league before (although this is not a dealbreaker for me and I am sure I can easily adapt to it). I am fairly flexible on the scoring specifics, but would prefer some form of standard scoring found in most dynasy leagues. I would also like rosters to be fairly standard (1 QB, 1-3 WR, 1-3 RB, 1 TE, 1 K, some form of IDP), as my old league used a format of 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 3 Offensive Flex, 1 TE, 1 KE, 3 Defensive Flex (that would actually be my ideal format, as I love the flexibility it offers). My last hope/requirement would be for a highly involved and competitive league- ideally I would like an environment that has daily involvement and verbal jousting (all in good nature, of course) and will remain highly competitive over the years without any constant bottom dwellers that don't put any time or effort in. It can be pay or free, I'm ok with either as long as the competitive nature and involvement is there (although in my experience, unless it is real life friends, pay leagues tend to foster more involved and competitive atmospheres).
I feel I bring a lot ot the table for any potential leagues, as I have a high level of football intelligence and have been quite successful at this little fantasy football hobby over the years, have played and won dynasty leagues in the past, and have a job that allows me plenty of time to stay involved and competitive on a regular basis.
