I just had a Compustar in my 2019 4Runner. So far so good.

I also have a Compustar. In my experience I recommend going longer distance than you think is necessary. I traded my first one in for upgrade because it wasn't working at well within the supposed distance. Something funny about those distance marketing. Also, I highly highly recommend the two way communication. I want those beeps coming back to me to let me know for sure it started. Phone app to me is overkill and slightly more steps but personal preference I suppose.
I just like the button on my key ring - push and hold until it beeps to let me know order was sent and then two confirm beeps coming back to let me know the car started.
