I just finished my stat crunch for 2006. I will go back 2 or 3 more years to find trends, but here are the results for 2006 (based on my league scoring)...

FF points scored

If you notice, these lists are pretty similar in number. Top scoring D with 387, and top points given with 382. Bottom scoring D with 120, and bottom points given with 131. The usual suspects at the top and bottom of both lists, although a few surprises along the way. Steelers being the 4th best to start your D against is shocking. Again, these figures are for my league scoring. Yours may be different, and if you have time, crunch your stats like this. You'll be surprised how some of the teams end out. I will use this data and my idea of which teams will be better/worse in 2007 to see if I can find the best cheap duo to take.
