Have you ever been diagnosed with hypogonadism? If not....

If you're open to the idea that you are just doing this to #### with aging and consequences be what they may, then more power to you. But men's testosterone levels drop as they approach/pass 40. that's what happens. You don't need to react to that as if it's a problem.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2701485/

pros: may produce a wide range of benefits for men with hypogonadism that include improvement in libido and sexual function, bone density, muscle mass, body composition, mood, erythropoiesis, cognition, quality of life and cardiovascular disease.

cons: Perhaps the most controversial area is the issue of risk, especially possible stimulation of prostate cancer by testosterone, even though no evidence to support this risk exists. Other possible risks include worsening symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy, liver toxicity, hyperviscosity, erythrocytosis, worsening untreated sleep apnea or severe heart failure.

This alias (and all it's previous threads) has all been a slow play for the:

"I've decided to become a cuckold" thread.

When that day comes I hope I'm online reading before the thread is deleted.

Hulk will be on of the biggest contributors to that thread.

:lmao:

I wouldn't wait around for that thread...

I was on my phone this morning, so I didn't elaborate much on the initial post.

My question was based on the fact that everywhere I look, there are these Men's Health clinics popping up advertising for low-T therapy and offering free screenings to check your "levels." I just figured with as many middle-aged guys as are in here, someone would have at least looked into it, if not tried it out.

I'm almost 40, have no sexual performance/erection/libido issues, but have had a decrease in energy, desire to workout, mild depression, concentration, motivation issues. Those are all boxes on the "checklist" these clinics advertise. I agree that all of this is probably just the normal part of getting older, but I am a bit intrigued by this phenomenon.

May go get a free screening just to see if they recommend anything.

I have it. Before I got diagnosed I had no energy and very deep depression. The meds aren't cheap but they're worth every penny. Totally life changing.

Is there a correlation between low t and your typical middle aged male lifestyle of being overweight, eating like crap, not ex er cising and being sedentary most of the day?

Can you expand on this? What changes have you noticed? I've long expected that I have low-t. Never been tested though.

Anyone getting Aveed injections? After looking into it this looks like the best option and was finally approved by the FDA. Only need an injection every 3 months.

About 10 years ago I asked to be checked for it by my doctor. I wanted it tested because I cant make it through a hallmark commercial without tearing up. I get headaches at movies trying not to blubber. In my mind there is something wrong with my inability to control my emotions when it comes to sad/sentimental stuff. It does not have to be over the top stuff either.

Anyway he tests me and tells me my testosterone is fine. He looks at me and says "your just a sensitive sissy" :kicksrock:

In his defense we joke around quite a bit so I did not take offense to his diagnosis.

Anyone know how much the Perrigo variety of generic Androgel costs (for those without insurance coverage)? I can't find a price on GoodRX.com or anything like this.
