Loyalty to your state team (1 Viewer)

Is it wrong in any way to root for a team in another state rather than your state teams? I'm thinking of border cities like Youngstown (Pittsburgh), Cincinnati (Kentucky), or Toledo (Detroit, UM). Does state loyalty come in to play at all in whom you root for?

Ive never rooted for any team based on geography, so Ive never been a fan of teams in my state or area. In fact, I love hating on em to rile up the local fans.
