Those commercials were directed by Michael Mann I think, and yeah they are epic.

Edit: The Merriman/Jackson one was Michael Mann, my personal favorite.

Not sure when you started watching basketball, but O'Neal at one point was a top-5 Forward. Same for Rasheed Wallace. Shawn Marion was the TOP fantasy player for quite some time, with his mix of defense, 3-point shooting, assists, and rebounding skills at 10+ per game.
