M Boulware - Serious Injury (1 Viewer)

Sounds like good news for S Michael Boulware considering he couldn't feel his legs for a short period of time. Thankfully he sounds ok.

Boulware: Initial Reports Are Positive By Doug Farrar Seahawks.NETDate: Oct 9, 2005Halfway through the second quarter of Seattle's 37-31 victory over the St. Louis Rams, Seahawks strong safety Michael Boulware remained on the field after taking on Rams guard Tom Nutten on a play. Boulware buckled and could not get up, according to Mike Sando of the Tacoma News Tribune. Boulware was taken off the field on a cart and taken to a St. Louis hospital. X-rays were negative. After the game, reporters in the Seahawks locker room reported that Boulware was able to shower, dress and speak to the media. He returned to Seattle with his teammates on the team plane, "Vulcan Two".“It’s a miracle,” Boulware told the assembled media. “I’ve never felt like this before in my life. I couldn’t move my legs for a good period of time, and the fact that there’s nothing major wrong – I probably have some bruising – and I’m able to walk right now is definitely a blessing. You kind of take it for granted, and now my eyes have been opened a lot more than they were before the game.”No word yet on Boulware's availability for next Sunday's game against the Houston Texans.

Good news on him indeed. How do yall think it will affect his play? I just cant imagine that he will play balls out after not feeling his legs the previous week. Do you think he will "tip toe" for the next few weeks/months?

I plan on benching him this week to see what happens. If all is well, he's back in my starting lineup on week #7. Otherwise I will wait until week #9 after his bye week.
