M. Thomas for Kyler/Fournette (1 Viewer)

My QB combo of Garoppolo/Rivers is making me nervous.

Is it a fair offer of giving Thomas to get Kyler/Fournette?

Depends on your feelings towards the latter, I suppose.

I agree with dwilliams, Trading one of the best WR for an unproven and an injury prone is a very big risk.

Go with Garrapolo and Rivers and keep Thomas.

Depends on the league.

What is the scoring, dynasty/keeper, and starting requirement?

Number of Starting WRs:2-5

Redraft?

And what does the rest of your roster look like?

Without knowing the rest of your team I'd hold with Thomas.

True there is some good chatter about Fournette and he finally has a legit QB to keep defenses honest and Murray can be a league changing player but Thomas is a top asset that I'd hold onto.  Given how there are more than 12 starting worthy QBs, I might look for a less 'dramatic' offer to another team but it might make sense to wait until a few weeks into the season when some teams show cracks and you can offer lesser pieces to fill them in for a QB you are more excited about (that may be a QB2 on somebody's team so they cost should be relatively low) than what you have.

After looking at your squad per the link you provided, I can understand your reservations regarding your QB's, but I definitely think they're both startable and, in fact, prior to last year's season-ending injury to Jimmy G, he was thought to be the next up & coming QB.

That combined with the fact that your current RB corp is a combo of:

  • David Johnson
  • LevBell
  • D. Freeman
  • Lindsay
I don't really feel that the potential uptick in Murray + Fournette is worth giving up one of the best WR's in the league. That plus the fact that if you trade away Thomas, your WR corp behind D. Adams is primarily upside-young talent or injured vets who we hope can still perform.

To reiterate what @Avery said above, I'd hold Thomas.

And if you have a chance to take a look at my post, I'd appreciate it:
