I think they might manage 2 or 3 WR TDs next year!Great move for KC. Hopefully Maclin stays on the field.
Contract includes an incentive of an extra $1 million per TD catch.I think they might manage 2 or 3 WR TDs next year!Great move for KC. Hopefully Maclin stays on the field.
This loosens up the defense for Kelce, I think. Smith will rarely actually throw that deep ball but defenses will respect Maclin and open things up for Kelce and Charles.Inb4 Philly fans say Chip is BB 2.0. This blunder can't possibly continue.
As a Maclin and Kelce owner :X
Thinking logically about the Chiefs passing game is a fools errand. This loosens up the defense for Kelce, I think. If the DEF knows that Smith can't and won't throw the long ball, how exactly does that open things up?This loosens up the defense for Kelce, I think. He can and will, just not often. It's not like Maclin is purely a deep threat, he'll open things up and catch balls. If the DEF knows that Smith can't and won't throw the long ball, how exactly does that open things up?This loosens up the defense for Kelce, I think. Yeah, I don't see how this is anything that hurts Kelce's value. Maclin certainly requires more defensive attention than Bowe. This loosens up the defense for Kelce, I think. What is happening with Bowe?Wonder if da'rick will be starting opposite him and all of a sudden KC will have WR core
I found the answer to my own question:What is happening with Bowe?Wonder if da'rick will be starting opposite him and all of a sudden KC will have WR core
Watch them still take DGB and just be stuck with a QB with a noodle arm.Well this screws up my mock, I had KC trading up to get one of the top 3 wideouts. Back to the drawing board.
Funny, I had made an offer for Maclin. Saw this and immediately revoked.literally had an offer on the table w maclin and a higher 1st that I was strongly considering taking.
news broke and 2min later I clicked REJECT
great timing for once
Because 2010's 70/964/10 wasn't breaking out? This is a worst case scenario for Maclin's fantasy football outlook. Not only is Alex Smith unwilling to pull the trigger on what he deems difficult throws, but Andy Reid's offense is "spread the wealth" in nature, and doesn't heavily target one specific player. Maclin never broke out in Philadelphia until he had Chip Kelly scheming him the football in 2014. In order to clear enough salary cap room for Maclin, the Chiefs are expected to release Dwayne Bowe. They may also have to move on from their pursuit of free agent C Rodney Hudson.
Well he can't catch less TD's than 0.I traded Bowe for Maclin last year and ended up with Bowe 2.0.![]()
but younger, so you get more years of it.I traded Bowe for Maclin last year and ended up with Bowe 2.0.![]()
They just resigned Manchez. There is no way they make another smart move as long as Kelly is there.Maclin owners gotta be hoping for this turning into a manny sanders situation. Any chance the Eagles see their folly and offer him $11m per?
Tfw I actually went through the trouble of drafting him then dropped him.Grab Josh Huff if he's on the waiver wire.
Agree but I think it's also going to contribute to making this incoming rookie draft particularly strong. In part because these players left some openings but also because a lot of big time perceived openings, like say the Colts RB as one of many examples, has yet to be filled in FA.The hits just keep coming. Marshall, Maclin, McCoy, Torrey Smith all go to bad offenses.
Jeff Maehl!Tfw I actually went through the trouble of drafting him then dropped him.Grab Josh Huff if he's on the waiver wire.
If the Iggles somehow don't add another receiver, is there any chance Huff overtakes what little competition there is in Cooper?

Totally agree. I think people are writing him off too early.based on the vibe in here me thinks Maclin could present some value in redrafts.....
He's now 'let the other guy take Maclin' in redrafts.based on the vibe in here me thinks Maclin could present some value in redrafts.....
