Mad Wax is a 24 player keeper league with a twist. Each year prior to FA, teams will be cut down from their final game 48 man team to 24 players, twelve (12) offensive and twelve (12) defensive players. Off season roster limits move to 55 during Free Agency (FA), annual Rookie Draft (RD), and preseason week three (3). Roster cut down to 48 by 00:01 (12:01 am) on the Monday after the last preseason game. Additionally, as there are no contract years, every fourth (4th) year beginning 2026, will be considered a reshuffle year in which rosters will be cut to twelve (12), (6) offensive and (6) defensive players prior to FA.
The League is made up of four conferences: "Old School Smash Mouth", "West Coast Vibes", "Trench War Bangers", "Smooth & Eclectic". There are four divisions: named as per the site. Each division will have four teams, for a total of 16 teams in the League. The theme of this league is albums/songs, teams are encouraged to choose a record they like to represent their team.
League buy-in is $100 (everything done through the TeamStake website). Disbursements are listed below.
$750 - League Winner (Platinum Album)
$250 - Second Place (Gold Album)
$100 - Division Winners(4) (Grammy Nominated)
$10 - Weekly High Score - 14 Week Regular Season (BillBoard Appearance)
$1,600 - Total Disbursements
