Make: Drafted KJones in the 4th, Carson in the 5th.

Break: Trade Chad Johnson away 2 weeks ago.

but I got Steve Smith

Make: Getting LT2 to drop to me at 1.3

Break: Drafting Kurt Warner and Brett Favre as my QBs. (Favre cost me a chance at the championship game this week. I finish second in points 15 points behind.

Break: Chambers at 3.3 killed me all year. (Could have had Kevin Jones, Chester Taylor, or Reggie Bush)

Break: Spending half my free agent pot on Eric Johnson.

Break: Dropping Rivers for Brunell.

make: trade edge for tbell/m.bell....than trading tbell/m.bell for gore

make: drafting FWP in the 3rd

break: matt jones in the 7th

make: picking up colston on FA prior to week 1

make: trading reggie williams for marion barber

break: trading chad for julius jones

break: trading Kitna for Tony G two weeks ago, leaving myself only McNabb.

i'm broken

Broke: Lamont J in both leagues

Broke: Randy Moss in both leagues

Broke: Caddy Williams

Broke: Jake Delhome

It's been a bad bad bad year. I've pretty much mailed it in since week 8.

A guy in my league 3 weeks ago traded Carson Palmer and Desmond Clark for Donovan McNabb and Dallas Clark. Well, he just cost himself a playoff spot.

Break: Lamont Jordan and Randy Moss in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. (Brooks later didn't help either)

Make: Colston as a WW, Driver in the 5th.

Make: Drafted LT2 as the number 2 overall pick. Had him slotted as the number 1 overall pick and was correct. This is in a PPR league so it was pretty obvious to me at least.

Also trading Deuce, Housh, and Cotchery for Gore, Toomer, and Moulds. This league has tight rosters and I was able to snag Mark Clayton and Mark Bradley off the FA pool to lesson the WR blow there.

Break: Drafted V Morency in the 8th ahead of Bulger

Break: Drafted Plummer in 9th after Morency

Break: Traded J Lewis and M Smith for Stallworth, Moss and Dallas Clark

Break: Traded R Wayne when he had 0 TDs and Heath Miller for Todd Heap

Break: Traded T Jones and R Grossman for Bulger

Break: Drafted J Lewis 1 pick bf Gore went. Was debating who to take

So all of that equals me being 2-9. but I do get to keep Maroney who i took in the 6th for the next 3 years if I want

Make: Ignoring the pundits on this board and taking Peyton in the 1st round

Break: Nothing can break a team that has the right Manning on it

Break: Antonio Gates in the 3rd round
:goodposting: Gates in the 4th for me, followed by Droughns in the 5th.

The only reason I might make the playoffs: traded Rudi Johnson for Palmer after week 4, picked up Colston on WW after week 2, and drafted Gore in the 6th - which made Johnson expendable for the Palmer trade.

16 team redraft

make: predraft trade 1.05, 2.12, 4.12 for 1.01,2.16, 4.16

i drafted LT2, chambers, driver. he drafted peyton, r.moss, w.dunn

break: i drafted ruben drones

Make (one league): LT at #1 overall; Holt at 3.1; Phillip Rivers to "back-up" Culpepper

Make (another): CJ at 2.3.

Break: Passing on Colston for Cotchery (one league) and Berrian (another).

Break: Taking a risk on Portis at 1.10 and 2.3 respectively.

Break: Deshaun Foster at 3.10.

With all of that, if I win out the next two weeks, I'm in the playoffs in two leagues. In the league with LT and Rivers, I've locked up a #1 seed.

BREAK: Waiting too long and having to draft A. Brooks as my #1 QB.

MAKE: Trading T. Bell for M. Vick in Week 3

BREAK: Seeing M. Vick go to crap in the last few games.

I'm really hoping Vick gets it together for this final few weeks. I'm up by one game in my division, the 3rd highest scoring team, but have lost the last 2 weeks in a row.

Starting Alex Smith week 4 and Mark Brunell in week 5 instead of vice versa, and benching Lee Evans this past weekend.

Those cost me three wins right there. I'm 5-6. :wall: :ptts:

As for "makes", drafting LJ, Gore and TO at 1.01, 2.14 and 3.01.

Make- Taking Colston in the last rd of all three of my leagues after hearing an interview with Brees on the NFL Network.

Taking Brees as my "backup" in two of the leagues.

Break: QBs across the board - drafting Culpepper, picked up Leinart instead of Brees, picked up Alex Smith instead of Romo

Worst QB play I've ever had, and I deserve it. I'm thinking of drafting a QB earlier next season. However, given that I could have had Brees and Romo if I had just made smarter FA choices, perhaps it's wiser to wait just as long on QBs and look more closely at the quality of the surrounding talent and quality of the team.

Make: Having a great draft, followed up by strong waiver wire moves in the first three weeks.

Break: Trading depth. I got Harrison for Deuce, Kitna, and Reggie Brown. I figured with Harrison & Ward, + Portis, McNabb, K. Jones and Favre Id be set. ####.

Make: Ignoring the pundits on this board and taking Peyton in the 1st round

Break: Nothing can break a team that has the right Manning on it
:goodposting: Drafting 11th out of 12 teams, I am quite happy with my decision to take Peyton at 1.11 after 10 straight RBs had been selected. As it turned out, 1.12 and 2.01 were both RBs as well, so I took...

2.02 Ocho Cinco

3.11 Randy Moss :hot: 'BREAK'

OK, the 'MAKE' moves were making the Peyton plan work, by finding my starting RBs with my next picks...

4.02 FWP <-- Steal of the Draft

5.11 Thomas Jones

Makes in big$$ league:

Draft:

LT @ 1.02

Wilkins (well, last two weeks aside)

WW:

M J-D - just in time to replace TBell at RB2

Romo saving my QB spot

(traded RBush for Hasselbeck in this non-PPR, and that is stillto play out)

Mark Clayton

Breaks:

Draft:

RBush in the 2nd

Mason

TGreen/ABrooks combo at QB

WW:

ASmith/Leinert to replace my drafted QBs - cost me two games having crap @ QB

TCarter over RCaldwell - big time oops on my part.

Y! small$$ league:

Makes:

Peyton Manning

Andre Johnson

retooling my team by grabbing Deuce, Colston, M J-D, Welker off the WW in a PPR plus return yardage league

Breaks:

haven't really had any - I'm kicking butt in that league - I guess not being able to make the draft and having nada at RB due to the autopick system

Make: drafting LT over Alexander at #2

Break: pairing up LT with Reuben fricken Droughns over Brian Westbrook

League 1 12 teamer:

Make:

LT2 - 1.2

Westy - 2.10

Holt- 3.2

Ahman 4.10

Brady 5.2

Vick 6.10

picking B Watson in the 11th round, Berrian, Chargers D and R Gould on the waivers

Team 2 12 teamer:

Break

Rolling the dice on Portis at 1.10 and taking Peyton at 2.2..

this team has struggled all year and I will be lucky to squeak into the playoffs.

Make: Walker 4th, Tatum 8th & Gore 9thBreak: SA 1st, Fitztgerald 2nd, Gates 3rd
I should add this in too Make: Drafting Brees 10thBreak: Dropping Brees to the WW for Carr week 4Make: Turning around and trading SA and Leftwich for Peyton and Turner in week 5 Break: Starting Coles in weeks 5 7 8 & 10 ( go look at his stats those weeks :wall: )

Make - Palmer in the 6th (cost me a couple games early though)

Make - Traded Portis Betts Pitt for Chicago and Gore 4 weeks ago

Break - Droughns in the 5th (RB3 so not a huge break)

Break - Traded Rudi/Cothery for TBell/Fitz after week 4 or 5. TBell has since become worthless and it was the week before Fitz blew the hammy. Not that Rudi and Cotchery have done much.

Break: (all in the same league): :bag: L. Jordan 1.10 :wall: then went on the road and forgot to predraft 3rd pick and got T. Brady via autodraft while there were still some RBs on the board. Greg Jones 8.3 instead of Drew-Jones a week before GJ's season-ending injury.

I'm in playoffs in my other two leagues but obviously in the toilet in this one.

Draft Break: C. Portis

Draft Break: R. Moss

Draft Break: A. Brooks

Draft Break: B. Roethlesberger

Nothing has really made my year this year. Drafted K. Jones, C. Dillon and L. Maroney to help salvage a game or two but for the most part this year has not been kind. :banned:

Keeper League: Keep 3; no more than one at any position.

Break - Keeping Daunte Culpepper.

Break - Keeping SAlex over LJ.

Break - Keeping Chambers over AJ.

Break - Using the pick I got for LJ on Reggie Bush.

Make: trading my 2nd Rd pick (Fitz)/ Parker for LJ/Chester

Make: trading Thomas Jones for Housh in Week 2

Make: trading Coles for Wayne after Week 4

Make: trading Kitna for Palmer a couple of weeks ago

Make: drafting Kevin Jones in 3rd Rd

Break: drafting and starting Droughns in Week 1, which is one reason I lost by only 9 points to a team that is now undefeated!!

Break:drafting and starting Trent Green in Week 1, which is one reason I lost by only 9 points to a team that is now undefeated!!

Break: drafting and starting Kennison in Week 1, which is one reason I lost by only 9 points to a team that is now undefeated!!

Break: drafting Aaron Brooks as my backup to Trent Green

Keeper League: Keep 3; no more than one at any position.Break - Keeping Daunte Culpepper.Break - Keeping SAlex over LJ.Break - Keeping Chambers over AJ.Break - Using the pick I got for LJ on Reggie Bush.

Make: McNabb, Chester

Break: Caddy, SSmith, & Hines put me in a hole early that I probably won't recover from.
that is absurd. he's the 5th best WR this year, after missing those two games.
