Is it me or Malcolm Kelly is really looking better then Devin Thomas in Washington first two preseason game???

I haven’t watched either of their preseason games, but haven’t Thomas and Kelly both been pretty quiet thus far? Like only catching 1-2 passes and not doing much with them.

Maybe some homers have a good grip on the situation as it currently stands between the two young WRs?

It’s definitely something to watch closely.

(FFChamps) A week ago it appeared that Malcolm Kelly had possibly moved ahead of Devin Thomas in the battle for the Redskins No. 2 wide receiver job. Now the Washington Post is reporting that Kelly has "distanced himself" from Thomas in the competition. Thomas was the leader early in camp while Kelly continued his rehab from offseason microfracture surgery, but Thomas checked out mentally for a while during preseason, opening the door for Kelly to start opposite Santana Moss. The Post concludes, "Kelly is the Redskins' new No. 2 receiver. That's clear."

Coach Jim Zorn did not directly say it. Why make a big deal about the obvious?

After the completion of the preseason, it is clear to anyone with half a clue that Malcolm Kelly is the Washington Redskins' No. 2 receiver. And it's not even close.

"No question, he's going to be totally involved," Zorn said.
