Hi, I have some league openings on a website (www.elitefantasyplayers.com) where we all gather and play leagues in a community setting. Essentially through playing baseball for years I and several of my friends built up a pretty large group of guys that we play with. We usually hang out on rotoworld/TSN message boards, but we wanted a place of our own - to post articles and run leagues on a grander scale. What we did was create a website where we all play and came up with a system that allows everyone to compete in individual leagues, but to make it interesting and to further interaction we set up a minor league system. We have 4 levels of leagues modeled after the MLB minor league system - in ours there is a single Elite League, 2 Div I leagues, 4 Div 2 leagues, 8 Div III leagues. The concept is spelled out with greater detail on the website, but essentially the best teams from each division move up each season and the worst move down. This allows us to all "compete" against each other in a bigger system and also make fighting for 8th place meaningful. Its not a big money making enterprise, it is just a group of guys that are trying to form a large community of good and committed players. We share articles and rank teams against the entire system.
