Eric Francis, of the Calgary Sun, reports the Indianapolis Colts have agreed to sign free agent WR Marc Boerigter (Packers). "It's a no-lose situation to go there, eight hours ago I didn't have a job," Boerigter told the Calgary Sun late Tuesday night, Aug. 22, after talking to Colts personnel. He has yet to formally sign a contract with the Colts but will fly into Terre Haute, Ind., this morning to take a physical and expects to be on the practice field at 2 p.m.

Interesting. I thought he would have gone to a WR starved team(eagles, SF). I don't think he'll crack the top 3 though.

This is too funny. My first/second day back here in the tank after a few years and there is a freaking Boeritger thread going on. For some of the ole timers here, they fully remember(I'd like to forget), I pimped good ole Marc to be a Top 20 WR back in '03. I was only off by one "0" as I believe Boeritger finished Top 200 that season....

What a disaster that was though and one that I'll always regret as I think I drafted him that season to be my #3 WR.....OUCH!!. I will say, I wasn't the only one pimping him or drank from that kool-aid as he was coming off of that 8 TD part-time performance the season earlier. I was just the only fool to publicly state Top 20....

Anyways, too ironic that this thread is here and so I needed to post on it to keep my Boeritger post steak alive....hehe

PS: Oh, and I think he'll stink in Indy this season.....not even on radar screen nor will he unless 3, god forbid, Colt WR's go down for the count.

I don't see how he can really "stink" much when he'll get so few opportunities anyway. Just a cheap backup. Nothing to see here.
