Marcedes Lewis (1 Viewer)

Through three weeks, Wrighster is 10 for 75, and Brady is 1 for 6. M Lewis did get into the game in week 3, but I have no idea how many snaps he was on the field for. Is he a), healthy enough now from the ankle injury to be at least 95%, and b), ready to challenge Wrighster for tagets and playing time? Did he get any targets in the limited number of snaps he had in week 3?

Any word on how he is progressing, and how large a role he might have in the Jax offense this week, and further into the season? Jacksonville didn't draft him to be a part timer.... is he ready to assume the role? Or, is he strictly a dynasty league player for this year?

IMO he's fallen too far behind to make an immediate impact this year, although Vernon Davis looked the same way coming into the season so you never know. Still, I like his keeper/dynasty prospects, and just picked him up for that very reason..

He's useless in redrafts leagues, but like zamboni suggested he still has potential in dynasty leagues. Some players take longer than others to catch on.

Even in a dynasty format? That seems a bit.... over-reactionary.I'll roll the dice with him over Cooley this week. That should mean Cooley has a good week, so that would work for me too! :wall: Anything that gets Cooley off this drought is a good thing.

Cooley is in the Tony G role just the 2006 one

Cooley was VERY streaky last year in the H back role.... I expected him to be more consistant in an Al Saunders offense as a dedicated TE. But, the Gonzalez comparison is a good one I think. Gonzo had to do a lot of blocking in 2005 early in the season, and it seems Cooley is falling victim to the same problem so far this year. Saunders said he had to get the running game more established, and that was why Cooley was blocking, but one game against the Texans hardly qualifies as having established a running game. I figure Cooley may be worth holding on to at this point, if the Wash O line can get the ground game going more consistantly in the next few games, allowing Colley to become a reciever instead of a blocker. I think.... i think... therefore I am....
